"Excelente experiencia, el hotel es precioso, las habitaciones espectaculares, el personal muy amable, la animación excelente y variada. El fan fest para ver los partidos del mundial me pareció una idea magnífica. Lo único que mejoraría es la comida, que era bien variada y en general buena, pero a mi gusto faltaba algo más de variedad en los pescados y mariscos. La playa si estaba en muy malas condiciones por el zargazo, imposible bañarse en ella, pero las piscinas lo compensan totalmente. En general disfrutamos mucho la estancia y lo recomendamos 100%."

"We had a very nice stay. The room was large and had a nice view. We loved the activities that they had, especially AquaFit with Carlos, Alan, and Gustavo. The food was generally good. We love Sensai and the great hibachi experience. The Italian restaurant was good, but guests should know it is served as a traditional, multicourse meal. Order an item from multiple categories. Route 66 had good BBQ and the buffet was good. The dinner buffet has limited options, so be sure to secure a dinner reservation. We were there during sargasum season so the beach was not an option. But that was okay, we enjoyed the pools instead! The entire swim up bar staff is GREAT! We especially appreciated Gustavo at the bar. He was prompt with service and was very kind. Try the Sexy Gustavo drink. They have music and a few activities during the day, as well as water loungers to relax. It was a great stay!"

"We've been to four different all inclusive resorts (Riu, Secrets, and now two through Excellence) and the Excellence Brand is by far our favorite. We stayed at the Beloved in March of this year and just got back from Excellence Riviera Cancun. Beloved was great for a short couples retreat while a five day stay with friends @ Riviera was perfect. We love that there is no sales pitch at the beginning of the stay at any Excellence. Riviera Cancun has amazing food. The breakfast buffet was the best buffet we've had, the lunch & dinner options were all also all so good. My husband loves Indian food and went back to Basmati twice for Indian food. The naan and butter chicken were his favorites but nothing was bad. The martini bar in the main lobby building had amazing drinks. We booked the Teppanyaki experience for dinner and even with a pickier eater with us, all 6 of us enjoyed it. The hotel offers many planned events and one we are so glad we did was the bike tour. A staff member leads the way about 2.5 miles off resort on a well paved service road to a downtown shopping area where you can get out and shop/take pictures for about 30 minutes and then head back. It was a nice 1.5 hour activity! The beach is very important to us. While we enjoyed the beach at Beloved (Playa Mujeres) more, this beach is still nice. Here you'll still get a few vendors popping in to ask if you want a massage or cigar but they didn't annoy us. Overall 10/10 and we plan to be back!"
