Absolutely beautiful and state of the art! Food is 5-star restaurant quality. Unfortunately we couldn't get in the ocean because of the seaweed. They cleaned the beach up every morning though and you could enjoy the beach area. However the pools we're endless and so were the drinks, so we didn't mind not getting in the ocean there. We went into Cancun for that. The drinks seem a little watered down. This is typical at all-inclusive resort though. The Butler service was not up to my expectations, we never got to meet him/her. But the overall experience was excellent. This resort is located about 20 minutes outside of Cancun, but there was no reason to have to leave. We will be returning! The staff we meet we're spectacular. This is a beautiful unique resort that is worth the visit.

Stunningly designed and decorated. Opulent. A true escape from the real world. So peaceful, no loud music at the pool. Very calm. Beautiful beach accessible from pool area.

Rooms very nice. Food mediocre. Japanese best food of all. Only 1 buffet and food the same everyday. No lobster anywhere to be found. Food should be much better at this resort. Most staff can’t speak English which is very strange considering your dealing with lots of AMERICAN and Canadian guests. Would not go back again.

We have a variety of meals that you can enjoy each day, however, can you share with us what dishes would you like to find in the buffet, and, at the resort? Lobster is available at the resort at an additional fee, in the restaurant Vora for dinner for example. Thank you for bringing to our attention the lack of English-speaking staff. We agree that most of our guests speak English, therefore, we will share this message with our key positions. But we can assure you that the majority speak English. We loved everything about the hotel. The rooms were amazing, the people and service were also amazing. The service we received at the front desk was the best experience we ever had, her name is Sandra Vagas. It is so many good things to say about this hotel, but the thing we are sure of is that we will be back.

This was our FIFTH trip to Mexico, at all inclusive resorts. We LOVED the room, the service was amazing, the food was absolutely incredible! The pool sizes are wonderful - with lots of in pool loungers and locations to not feel crowded. The loungers and chairs at the pools were high-end, private, and very comfortable! We loved the upgrades in the room - bluetooth speakers in the bathroom, rain-shower, ceiling fan, and we opted for a swim out room which was very enjoyable as well! The nightly entertainment was nice, but we look forward to the resort becoming full so that part can expand. Even with rooms still available, it was nice and quite but with a lot of friendly vacationers to visit with. Overall, this resort is in our top 2 favorites for sure! We are currently in the process of rebooking for later this year!

The Haven Riviera might be a great property when it’s fully functioning, the staff is properly trained, and the management learns what is missing compared to other all-inclusive resorts in the area. But for now, it left us wanting more. The only benefit to the Serenity Club upgrade was the beautiful Oceanfront view. That is unless you are in building 5 - which looks over a beach still in development. Fortunately, the straight-on, unobstructed view from the room to the Caribbean Sea helped distract the eyes. Don’t expect great concierge/butler service - too many promises left undelivered. The Club lounge is hidden in the back corner of the propriety and wasn’t worth the walk - hors d'oeuvres not fresh, unattended low quality self-service “bar”, no interaction. The mini-bar was not serviced our first 2 days and our 5th day. The aromatherapy menu was a joke as we only received it one day. Room Service never answered the phone. The restaurant staffs were great. Food was average. We’ve travelled to Mexico for over 15 years and this was the one and only time that one or both of us were sick every day from some we consumed! Towards the end of the week, we were hesitant of eating anything outside of grilled steak and corn chips. There was NO service on the beach until our 4th day. Even then it was so intermittent that it could never be counted on. No daily activities or posted schedule to speak of. Weather, sand and water were great!
