Service and Moon Palace are amazing! The only reason why I have it a 4 is because we were highly disappointed with the beach! It is out of the control of Moon Palace, but because of environmental circumstances the beach was smelly and in usable due to the horrible seaweed problem.

Nevertheless, the amount of seaweed on the beach is due to a natural phenomenon that is currently affecting the coasts of Cancun and other islands of the Caribbean. You cannot use the beach(seaweed)

We stayed there for 4 days. We couldn't use the beach at all due to extreme seaweed. Also, the smell of the seaweed was miserable, and we could smell it all around the hotel even in our room. So we went there to enjoy the beach, which, we couldn't even use the beach once and we had to cover our noses due to strong bad smell. I don't recommend anyone to go there if you plan to use the beach.

Tons of seaweed that makes imposible even walk close by the beach, forget about swimming in the ocean, it smells like death fish.The hotel try to mask that smell with "aromatherapy"which make it even worse. My all family got food poison with a every suboptimal food.

Nice hotel close to the beach and family friendly

Pros: options for food and activities
Cons: The beach at this resort is not really swimmable due to the seaweeds. Improve the frequency of the shuttle service.
Good resort overall. The food was great and the service was very good. There were ample activities for our whole family (golf, spa, games, etc.). However, the beach next to the resort was below of what I expected of typical Caribbean beach due to way too much seaweeds near the shore and in the water, hence we didn't get to enjoy the beach much. Also, due to the size of the resort, we had to rely on the on-site shuttle service to go from place to place on the resort or dining and for other activities which were not too bad but just something to keep in mind as sometimes you may have to wait for over 20 minutes for the right shuttle to show up (not all shuttle goes to the places you need to go). Also, the items at the on-site golf shop are way over-priced (for example, a sleeve (3-balls) of Nike Mojo golf ball cost $30 USD, which sells for $19 USD in the US for 24-pack!!!) which equates $10 USD for each golf ball, Ouch. The golf gloves also cost $30-$40 USD. So if you decide to play golf, pack those golf balls and gloves. Overall, we had a great time.

Great Place... but a bit tight for a family of 4

Pros: I was surprised at the food quality as my expectations were low for an all-inclusive... but Moon did an excellent job at providing a variety of food
Cons: Suggestion - Need more golf carts to get you around. Should work more like calling an UBER or where you can schedule a pickup.
Location: Did the Dolphin Adventure with Snorkeling in a cave, ziplining, rappelling and swimming with Dolphins. I did it in Hawaii... but much better here!
It was my first time at an all-inclusive and I really enjoyed my stay. I have 1 complaint and 1 suggestion Complaint - Room is tight for a family of 4 with a HUMONGOUS tub in the room that we nor any of the 200 or so guests we had stay there used. (This trip was for a wedding) Get rid of the tub in all of the rooms... It's a fad from the 90's and no-one uses it anymore Suggestion - Need more golf carts to get you around. Should work more like calling an UBER or where you can schedule a pickup.

Worst customer service

Over charged us $650 and we had to fight it on day of check out and almost missed our flight. Not enough restaurants plus food not that great. Rooms too far and trying to get a golf cart will take about 30min.. our entire day was spent trying to get golf cart then trying to go to Nisuc lobby for better food. Room service took2 hours to deliver. Employees except tip and when u tip them $10 at the bar they look at it and say what is this.. this was our second trip to moon palace and last one.... Very very disappointed

AC was very noisy

The hotel overall was very excellent. Great Food, friendly staff that treat you like family. However, we did face a few obstacles throughout our stay at moon palace. The breakfast buffet lacked other choices of other than simple American food such as pancakes and french toast. The beach okay, a lot of seaweed, however, the beach palace made up for the lack of beauty. Last but not least, our major problem was the AC in the room itself. It was very noisy at night, as it turns on and off throughout the day and night. Other than that, it was a very pleasurable and excellent experience, and we are proud to say we will be coming back for our next adventures in Cancún.

This resort is the most magnificent resorts.

Pros: This resort is the most magnificent places that I ever see and the way of services are excellent because they always make you happy and satisfy.
Cons: There are nothing to be improved.Only the Sea Foods need to add up on the menu except you allergic about it. But anyway all the foods are delicious.
Location: Locations are very convenient . It's closed to the beach and swimming pools plus Food services for what ever you want to eat and drink.
You should book and stay this resort if you try to plan for vacation, I guarantee that you never regret it. I would recommend to my friends and I probably book another trip again in the future.

Watch your things!!!

Pros: Food and drink included.
Cons: Clean up around the pool-places to put dirty dishes, cups, and towels.
Location: Adventuas Mayas has a great trip. Staff is terrific!
Moon Palace is a very big, yet nice hotel. However, we were robbed twice within the first few hours of our stay. First, my iPhone was stolen off of my lounge chair when I stepped away for about 2 minutes to dip my foot in the pool. Being that the towels were gone, my clothes on the ground, no other guests around, and my daughter saw the back of an employee hurrying away from our chairs with the towels, I would say it's pretty evident that an employee stole my phone. Second, my husband received a credit card alert on his phone the next day alerting us of a fraudulent charge. Since my husband has not used this credit card at all, especially not since we got to Mexico, we determined that the bellman who dropped off our luggage in our room when we were not in it must have taken the number and used it. My husband was also missing some of his cash. I felt the hotel did very little to help us and I was informed that if I was compensated they could no longer be responsible for this incidents if I found there were further problems with credit/bank card issues when I got back to the states. As a result we did not feel secure and it put a damper on our entire trip. Glad to be home.

Moon Palace Cancún - All Inclusive is set along 0.75 miles (1 kilometer) of beach, where lounge chairs offer sunbathing comfort and thatched-roof palapas provide shade.
