The rooms were nice, but I had booked 2 rooms and hoped that the rooms would be on the same level and nearby each other. Although the rooms were in the same building, they were different levels and at different ends of the building. In addition, our building's elevator was out of services the entirety of our stay. One of my room was on the second floor and the other room was on the third floor.

I didn't like they give us $250 resort credit but we only can use $50 for massage & also if we buy anything we have to pay taxes and all.. I wanted to use $250 credit but couldn't coz i had to pay 50$ roughly tax from own pocket wheres credit mean it should cover. It's like kinda scam...but overall staff are so kind and helpful.

We stayed at Moon Palace Sunrise. Pros: Pool was great, amenities were great. Playroom for toddlers and kids is great. Great SPA (it costs a lot though, not free). Awesome drinks. Biking, beach and nightly shows. Cons: All inclusive food was not good except Pizza, fast food, snacks and breakfast. The dinner order would take forever. It took 45 mins one time and once we complained, things start coming in. In-room service took 1.5 hours to arrive and my kids slept hungry because they were tired and it was late. When I complained, they said it takes 1 hour, I told at least show an ETA in app if that’s the case so that one can plan? Another instance we ordered 3 varieties of curry dishes but the curry was exactly the same, except maybe the spice or salt/pepper levels. Resorts credits are absolute rip-off. They are worthless to the point you can’t buy basic stuff from their stores! They are way to get you into package tours which are 3x the market price and they’ll shave off some portion and you still pay at least 2x. Most staff are courteous but some are rude. I paid top dollar during a Thanksgiving break but the stay fell short of expectations. Some advice: don’t have 5 restaurants all inclusive bs, instead focus on quality and maybe charge customer and bring down the cost. Don’t scam people by offering $250 resort credit when they are near worthless. Don’t make people wait 45 mins for orders because it’s free (you pay for it in their all inclusive marketing tag). 2.5 stars

This is probably one of the best places to stay in Cancun. Amazing facility, staff was always helpful and friendly, every meal we had was excellent, and the pools were always clean with enough loungers to be able to find one when you wanted to just lay by the pool. Only two cons/negatives: 1. The beach they are located on is not one where you'd want to swim. The water is so shallow that there is alot of brown seaweed that also covers the beach due to tides. It smells like a bay at low tide due to it laying out in the sun. However, the pools are so nice in the resort that you can still enjoy them and not miss the beach. (We actually got a day pass from the resort planners for a trip to another beach in Cancun that didn't have seaweed, so were still able to have a "beach day" on our trip). 2. The second con is the pushy sales people trying to sell their vacation club. I sat thru what was supposed to be 90 minutes which ended up lasting over 2 hours. I got free day passes to their sister facility, "The Moon Palace- The Grand" but never used them. I stayed at The Moon Palace - Sunrise. They then tried again after I checked out and I still had to decline them 5 x's. If you know ahead of time that you don't want to sit in on one of these "presentations" and you decline it, you will have a great time other wise. Other than those two things our trip was amazing.
