This resort is the most magnificent resorts.

Pros: This resort is the most magnificent places that I ever see and the way of services are excellent because they always make you happy and satisfy.
Cons: There are nothing to be improved.Only the Sea Foods need to add up on the menu except you allergic about it. But anyway all the foods are delicious.
Location: Locations are very convenient . It's closed to the beach and swimming pools plus Food services for what ever you want to eat and drink.
You should book and stay this resort if you try to plan for vacation, I guarantee that you never regret it. I would recommend to my friends and I probably book another trip again in the future.

Watch your things!!!

Pros: Food and drink included.
Cons: Clean up around the pool-places to put dirty dishes, cups, and towels.
Location: Adventuas Mayas has a great trip. Staff is terrific!
Moon Palace is a very big, yet nice hotel. However, we were robbed twice within the first few hours of our stay. First, my iPhone was stolen off of my lounge chair when I stepped away for about 2 minutes to dip my foot in the pool. Being that the towels were gone, my clothes on the ground, no other guests around, and my daughter saw the back of an employee hurrying away from our chairs with the towels, I would say it's pretty evident that an employee stole my phone. Second, my husband received a credit card alert on his phone the next day alerting us of a fraudulent charge. Since my husband has not used this credit card at all, especially not since we got to Mexico, we determined that the bellman who dropped off our luggage in our room when we were not in it must have taken the number and used it. My husband was also missing some of his cash. I felt the hotel did very little to help us and I was informed that if I was compensated they could no longer be responsible for this incidents if I found there were further problems with credit/bank card issues when I got back to the states. As a result we did not feel secure and it put a damper on our entire trip. Glad to be home.

Hotel room, beaches and pool

The first day we were not given the room that we signed up for on travelocity. The Moon Palace Hotel stated it was not a guarantee that we would get room that we expected. The staff told us they had another room, that it would take 30-40 mins before they could move us and to stay in the room to wait. The 30-40 mins turned into 2 hours. At that point they moved us to a golf course villa which was further from the main hotel/lobby. Due to the distance of these rooms we were issued a golf cart, which was very nice, however, this took another 40 mins to get the cart. In my opinion it would have been better if the hotel would have said "it may take awhile please go enjoy the hotel, get some food and we will call you when everything is ready". The next day the hot water heater broke and the staff told us we would need to move again. Then then moved us to a golf course villa suite which was beautiful but only had a king bed and they had to bring in a rollaway. The following night the hot water was out again. At this point we just grinned and bared the cold shower. By the last night, the water temperature in the room was back to normal. Beach was very disappointing. There was mounds of kelp all over the entire beach line. The water was not as clear and blue as other resort beaches I have stayed in while visiting in the past. Pool options were very abundant and nice. Visitors need to make sure they are up at the crack of dawn in order to reserve pool chairs.

Location: many tours, although nothing is walking distance, but they have transportation to anything you want to go and see

Great Resort, but some bumps in the road.

Pros: The hotel part was amazing, all positive comments on the hotel ad rooms.
Cons: The staff should have better knowledge of what they are telling the guests or maybe not be so misleading to the guests!

The resort was amazing and the staff was very friendly. The rooms were very clean and pools are awesome. The beach was amazing and sand was very soft and fine. The only negative thing I can say about the resort is the staff is lacking knowledge on some of their promotions and procedures. We were told when we arrived we had a $1500 credit to our room we could use for the spa and for excursions. Wow we thought that was Great, so we did some excursions and spa activities and charged it to our room. When we were checking out in a hurry to catch a flight back home, we were told we could not use the credit for any of our expenses. Not having time to enquire or argue about what we were told when we arrived we did not get to use any of our $1500 room credit for our excursions or spa activities!! This seemed like a trap to me to lure you in to doing some of the extra activities. Things like this will make me find a different resort for the next years retreat!

The beach was very dirty you cannot swim .

Everything was goid but we had cockroaches and lizards in our room and when I told the one of the hotel recipient she laughed and said it normal to find them !!!!

Beware: it's not a tour.

I have nothing bad to say about our room, the food, the pool, or the service, but be careful if you're a new guest. We were awoken at 8:30 am on our first day, to a phone call saying we have rewards that we should redeem and to ask for someone near the front desk lobby area. We were told we would go on a tour, and to bring our credit card, but we'd be getting $100 in free spa dollars (but, of course, they charge you 16% gratuity that is extra). So we were like okay, this is our first day, its a big place, a tour will be fine. We were told it was going to be 90 minutes. It's not a tour. It's a meal with a salesperson trying to get you to spend 55k (not kidding) on 200 vacations - "it's not a time share". Luckily we just kept refusing and got done early (it was so sunny outside - on our first day!), some people say they couldnt get away for 3 hours. Just say no.

Unbelievable

The resort was absolutely beautiful. The staff was amazing. The food was out of this world, they had everything you could think of. Everything was very classy. Great spot to bring kids. Overall amazing experience, one of the best times of my life.
