Beach & location is amazing! The resort is well laid out & everything close. The pool overlooks the beach. Our room had an amazing ocean view & very spacious. Those are the pros, now for the cons.Check in-arrived at 8am, got bracelets (no room or #) & could use the facilities, except no food until 11am, we just flew all night, it's breakfast time but we had to wait 3 hours to eat? The room-like I said spacious & great view. The A/C barely worked, toilet only flushed sometimes (yes, we called & they came & "fixed" but did not). The food & drinks- buffet food was barely ok. Mostly cold, not many choices, not that great and No salsa or guacamole??? You could only get guacamole at the outdoor lunch shack which was just ok.The reservation restaurants- there's only 3 and the mexican one was hardly open. The other 2 pretty good, however limited choices. You can't get a drink before 11am or after 11pm, not impressed with that. The entertainment- we were there for 10 days & there was only 1 half hour show the one evening. They say there is shows Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays and a live DJ outside on Saturdays, there was 1 show on a Monday. The daytime activities suck, maybe some poolside bingo and volleyball. The staff do not know much english, not very lively. The beach- like I said it's beautiful, but it's public. you go & get a front row hut & have this beautiful, pristine sand & water view, then it fills w/ umbrellas & locals. They're loud, drunk & leave garbage/cans all over.
