All of the staff we encountered were very friendly. Everyone greeted us as we passed them. The bartender at the lobby bar remembered what my husband drank and would pour it before he even sat down. The pool area was always clean and you always see staff cleaning up behind guests who do not remember to clean up behind themselves. What we did not like was being sent to concierge Alexis after check in. While it was helpful that he gave us information about the hotel (food, entertainment, amenities etc), we did not like that he tried to get us to attend a “seminar” (timeshare sales pitch) at their sister resort to celebrate their 30th anniversary in exchange for either dinner on the beach or massage for 2. We also knew that food served at all inclusive resorts were not very good. They offered fresh fruits with every meal at their buffets and 3 different types of smoothies during breakfast. Their omelette station during breakfast was the best in my opinion. The snacks provided poolside was also great (finger foods/pizza). The rest of the food was bland and dry and their cakes were watery for some reason. We ate at Marco Polo for Valentine’s Day dinner. While the food presentation was beautiful, the taste was underwhelming. We still had a good time due to the friendliness of the staff, the breathtaking view from our balcony (we upgraded to an ocean view room) and the free minibar that provided water, sodas and Coronitos that were replenished everyday.

Everything about this resort was wonderful, the food was to die for and the variety was amazing, changing each night for each restaurant, no limit to the a la carte meals as well. Beautiful view, very helpful and friend staff!

The staff at the front desk was not helpful at all. They would not give us information about wifi, transportation, or excursions. They would simply say they don't know and ask us to go find out ourselves from staff from other departments. After checking in we were immediately sent to this desk where a staff tried to sell us the time share promotion. This person was rude and wasting our time and left us a real bad first impression of the hotel. Also the lady at the hospitality desk arranging tours was not honest. She was faking a phone call confirming the price of a tour we wanted to go according to Google translate and gave us a higher price of the original one. These people need to improve on their customer service. All the other staff at the restaurants was great though.

The hotel staff are great. It’s a beautiful hotel right on the beach with an amazing outdoor balcony. Food was ok. The bed we slept on was not comfortable. It made a crunching noise and felt hard. The WiFi was terrible as well. Since we were mostly out and about it wasn’t a too bad but when trying to use the WiFi it took forever. Oh and the toilets took two flushed to empty.
