Still a spring breaker hotel

Was willing to give Oasis a try since my last visit in 1999. I made a huge mistake! Still immature young adults wrestling in the water and making tons of noise, playing Flip Cup in the pool, drinks were cheap and watered down, food was horrible, and we couldn’t even get a glass of wine. The one restaurant had great food but we had to have a conversation with the chef to actually be served since it was 9:45 pm. Oasis served its purpose when I was 21 but now that I am 40, I will not return.

Horrible staff

The staff didn't even know English and the ones that knew wouldn't even help out I called room service to see if they can put the tv into English mode they couldn't come do that than my remote battery died I asked for a replacement they couldn't even do that, I rented a car from the hotel for 4 days but they charged me for 5 and wouldn't even give me a refund. I was traveling with my wife and my son and traveling with a baby is not easy so there was a parking lot that was empty the whole time I was there and they would not let u park there So I had to park so far away with a baby and car seat in the 100 degree weather and when I asked why I can't park closer to the hotel instead of bumble F@@@@@k they had no reason my wife and I complained but no one did anything about it and that parking lot of was empty day and night no construction no workers nothing going on but we couldn't park there honestly I was looking forward to Cancun but the resort ruined the trip for me I wouldn't recommend it to any of my friends because of the staff and their rules that mad no sense and The service was just bad

Pros: The resort itself was nice and beach was clean and nice.
Cons: Better Food and Name Brand Alcohol ( Crown Royal, Grey Goose, Jack Daniels, Patron Tequila, etc.)
No AC in restaurants. Room AC low was room temperature. The Food in all restaurants was very bland. Edible, but No taste. Lots of young college age guests. All- Inclusive free alcohol was cheap and nasty. No name brand alcohol.

Hotel staff steal from you!

Pros: The entertainment/recreation for spring breakers
Cons: honest hotel employees
Location: It's all inclusive so stayed on resort.
They did not (conveniently) have any more keys for our room safe when we checked in. Even though I thought I did my best to hide my cash well, within 24 hours over $400 was stolen from my room because they are pros and know where to look AND who doesn't have a key. (they probably all have a key that works all the safes even if you did lock it) I filed a report at the hotel, but was told it wouldn't make a difference, I shouldn't plan on getting my money back, and I could walk to the police station 10 minutes away to file a report with them. (didn't sound safe) We were booked for a room with 2 double beds and were given 1 king bed for 2 males. ATM's ran out of money so I couldn't replace my cash.

Don't go here!

Pros: Beach, pool
Cons: Everything was an extra charge, very poor customer service. Food was barely acceptable.
A terrible experience. You wait in line for everything and most times were disappointed after the wait. We waited to check in, we had arrived early, our room was not ready. That was ok, but there was no place to put our luggage, we had to wait in this line (1/2hr or longer) 2 more times before we got into our room after 4pm. Our room was in the garden level, we had bugs, the faucets fell off, we had a difficult time getting water. They parked 7 cleaning carts outside our door every day, you had to wend your way through, like being in a utility closet. We were told that our mini bar was not included and neither was Wi-Fi, you couldn't purchase Wi-Fi because the machine was empty. The food is sub par, served in a buffet style. If you wanted to go to any of the other restaurants you waited in long lines. We waited more than once, in the line for ice cream only to have it empty when we got there, staff would say too bad it's gone. We id complain and they upgraded our room for 2 nights, but even then they did not fill the mini bar and we were given confusing information over and over again. Lovely pool and great beach, but that is it. Plenty of places in Cancun, pick somewhere else.

Better than I expected. The only thing I would suggest that needs improvement is the waiting...waiting to eat at the buffet, waiting to check out. Under staffing at some areas caused longer than usual wait times.
