The hotel staff, food and dining options, rooms and pools were all wonderful. I would like to see more night activities. The weekend we went to visit we had to get transportation to their hotel to enjoy the night life. I will definitely stay here again!!!

Room was very clean and the bartender at the Daiquiri bar was everything. Armando in Don Julio was awesome as well. Please bring tip $ cuz the staff deserves it. The area itself is walkable to shopping and the casino

One of the best resorts we’ve stayed at. The hotel is new, modern, clean, lots of restaurants to choose from, great food and comfy beds. The staff is great as well, super friendly. There’s always something to do, never a dull moment.

The best hotel I have been to hands down, I’ll definitely stay here in case I come back to Cancun again. Thanks to all the entertainment and the workers for always being available I don’t remember all names but the customer service was incredible. I wish I could give a 10 stars

The resort is nice but the food sucks. I had the elite club pass and couldn’t get a reservation in the restaurants… also I couldn’t sleep due to banging all night for 2 days of construction being done. Not a very relaxing vacation.

Our stay was outstanding. We upgraded to the Elite Club and it was the best thing we could have done. It was clean, the food was wonderful but the staff was absolutely phenomenal! Your staff went above and beyond. To Edwardo the lifeguard. Saul and Karen the wait staff and front desk. We could not have asked for better. I will say this though your other lifeguards need to some lessons from Edwardo.

Our check-in was a disaster and the staff at the front desk were extremely rude and unhelpful. They run a scam where they charge you for 2nd in room at 'last minute' premium rates, even though I notified them 2 months in advance that we would be a party of 2. I asked to speak to the General Manager, they sent me the activities co-ordinator. I wrote the GM personally and never got a response. The rest of the staff and experience was OK. There was construction throughout the night unyil 3 AM, and no apologies or make goods from the resort... you hear the traffic highway noise inside your room at all times. Food was OK. Drink was OK. I've worked in hospitality and tourism for 25 years and have been going to Mexico for that long... I will never book at a Riu property again. They had an opportunity to make good on the terrible start, but never caught up... they really need to focus more on Hospitality training. Unfortunately, they lost a client that could have booked many room nights with them throughout the year. If you look at my previous reviews, you will see that I don’t make bad reviews easily, as I have empathy for hard working hospitality & tourism staff. So take heed of this one. NOT RECOMMENDED!
