I reserved this hotel for my birthday, expecting a special experience, but was disappointed. I booked a double bed Diamond Club room but received a king bed instead, forcing us to co-sleep. When I raised this issue, no alternative rooms were available, so we had to stay put. Our room was next to a noisy staff elevator, which disrupted our sleep, and despite notifying the staff, no action was taken to investigate or resolve the issue.
As part of the Diamond Club upgrade, a 50-minute hydrotherapy session was included. However, the spa’s heating system was not working, and the pools were freezing, making it impossible to enjoy the facilities. I ended up canceling my massage because of this.
While the drinks were good, the food was average, and entertainment was minimal. Additionally, the rooftop pool was closed throughout my entire stay, and ongoing events limited access to other amenities, significantly impacting my experience.
Overall, I was highly disappointed and don’t plan on staying at any Royalton property again. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to others.
