Only complaint is the amount of seaweed on the beach. Approximately 10 to 12 feet of seaweed (sargassum) lined the entire shoreline and was rotting the entire time. I didn't seem like much effort was being put into clearing the shoreline during our stay. The rotting sargassum also produces an unpleasant odor that permeates the entire property. Also the potential for the seaweed situation is not highlighted in any way during the booking process. Would not recommend staying at this resort during the summer months due to sargassum.

We stayed at Dreams Sapphire for a wedding. We booked the premium ocean front room and it was nice. The premium restaurant options were a must as I would not like to be limited to the buffet for the whole trip. Elon at the Bluewater Grill was my favorite! He listened and took care of our every need. This restaurant was best for breakfast and mimosas! We enjoyed the adult pool but it was way too hot, not refreshing at all in July. For dinner our favorite restaurant was as Bordeaux. You won’t be disappointed. The beach was off limits when we were there due to seaweed infestation. The smell was awful. Hopefully they are able to clear that for your visit. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

We loved our stay with our family at Dreams Sapphire. We had two rooms in building 1 and our rooms were in a great location near pool and beach. The staff truly makes the stay memorable. The grounds were beautiful, pool lively and food was good. We upgraded to preferred which I would recommend as check in/check out and the preferred lounge, top shelf liquor in the lounge and preferred pool made it worth the money for our family. We will return to this resort!

The staff is super friendly and will make sure to help you in any way they can. Antonio from the bar was awesome. He was always smiling and ready to provide the best service. One thing i didn't like was that guests get up super ealry and i am talking about 5 am to grab their spots by the pool, so if you are like me and get up around 8 or 9, you won't find any shade. The hotel does have a rule that says if you leave your spor for 45 min, they will remove your towels and belongings; however, i haven't seen it being enforced. I do think the experience would've been different if the beach was not "invaded" by the seaweed. Hotel did meet my expectations. This was 3rd Dreams that my family and I visited and I will definitely stay at Dreams again.

Had a fun time for our short stay. Staff were friendly although didn’t always follow through (rollaway bed took two nights to turn up after being told different answers on whether it was coming at all by multiple people). Food was ok not amazing. Pool was good but closed early. And not Dreams fault but the seaweed was horrendous - piled high and sooooo smelly. Overall we had a fun stay especially with a day trip to Tulum including swimming with turtles and seeing ruins / swimming in cenotes, and a second day trip to Xcaret Xplorer.

We stayed at this resort, and I was not informed that we were landing in the middle of the jungle. I found a lizard and cockroaches in my room and had to call room service to remove them. There was animal feces on the stairs of our building, and when we complained, the response was, “It’s outside your building.” Be prepared to encounter raccoons in the main buffet area and iguanas near the pool. The front desk staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. Guadalupe, in particular, does not know how to treat customers with respect. She told us, “You are in the middle of the jungle — it’s normal.” I didn’t know I had paid for a four-star resort that feels more like a jungle. The ocean is full of seaweed, and the entire property smells terrible. I will not return to this resort, and I do not recommend it to anyone

We upgraded to Preferred Club. Room was very clean and comfortable. Second time in this resort. They have upgraded a lot. Great entertainment team, lots of activity, family friendly, food was good to great specially in the World Cafe buffet. Other restaurants were also good. Staff was friendly. Ocean was not too good but can't take away points for that (natural). Lots of Sea weed. For ocean lovers its unusable. Won't mind staying there again.

I love the hospitality I got from the moment I arrived. Everyone was very attentive and made my whole family feel welcome. I had one of the best waiters ever his name was Julio at the blue waters restaurant. He always went above and beyond with service.

Very open concept facility, so there are very limited places to stay cool. All restaurant were lacking AC, so be prepared to adapt in tropical weather clothing! Otherwise, food is amazing and water slides are definitely a plus to stay!

The grounds of the property are nice, the main lobby and common spaces needs upgrades. The beach had a lot of seaweed, we understand is out of their control. But it was never clean up and it had a pretty strong smell. Other resorts clean their beach front. I like pools, but taking walks on the beach and get my feet wet with the waives is on of my favorite things to do. Here unfortune it was not possible. Food and service was good. They have entrainment/family activities during the day (Zumba, pool games and shows). staff was great. Monica from entertainment make sure we knew about all the activities for the day.
