NO FUNCTIONING A/C SYSTEM DURING MY WHOLE STAY IN A DIAMOND CLUB OCEAN VIEW LUXURY SUITE! Yes that is correct! NO A/C. No one offered any remedies. I could not sleep well and it was agonizing to be in the room during the day. Just paying for the top level service that is their Diamond Club. Was told several times that the A/C would be fixed...finally told me to write a email to customer service. Which I did before the end of my stay. Over a month later no email or phone call in response. NOTHING! I've been around the world and stayed on many different properties. This being the worst customer service ever. I even made the effort to call customer service several times to no avail. They keep on passing me to different locations. At one point they even gave me a phone # to a cookware company with a similar name (Diamond Club Cookware). TERRIBLE! Never had to write a complaint until now. This is really frustrating. Hard to believe the parent company is Marriott. They usually hold their properties to the highest standard. Another supposed benefit to the Diamond Club was a personal butler during your stay. She gave us a brief tour of the location...aprox. 20 minutes. Never saw her again. Tried to contact her later...nothing. Now for the good...the Bartenders were very friendly with great service...and you have access to premium brand liquors. The restaurants were nice with above average food.

Terrible. I reached out to the property by phone and via message on atleast 4 different occasions no answer or response. Once i arrived The property had a bunch of nasty looking cats running around looking malnourished! Since when is that a normal thing? The Mosquitoes were horrible even with bug repellent. No matter what the bugs are all in the rooms even with Fumigation! Unfortunately, the gift shop charges $15 for a small bottle of repellent. My room smelled of mildew, switched rooms, same smell. Terrible. The ocean was disgusting brown with lost of seaweed. The all inclusive drinks don't even get you buzzed, clearly they gave us juice/water. Billards was listed as an amenity we looked forward to, lies, they didn't have it. The room service says 24hrs, lies. The casino was complete garbage, very small, only 3 available tables, and you have to pay for drinks there. Doesn't make any sense! My boyfriends straw hat mysteriously disappeared from the room, how low can you be! Overall it was such a waste of money, the property is so boring. I thought they would have lots of activities to partake in, nope, just boring. I can't believe this place is considered a 5 star hotel by Marriott, so disappointed.

Great/Okay resort for families and little ones. Me and my husband came with our one year old daughter. She loved all kids activities and water park. Decent food options HOWEVER!!!! Hotel is pretty outdated , rooms are outdated ( seems like things are falling apart / kind of dirty IMO … we found a bag of drugs in our room ). We requested a crib for our room and our daughter screamed at the thought of getting in it . They gave us a crib from the 70s. They stated no reservations are needed for the restaurants however wait can be over an hour ( makes more sense to have reservations especially when your with little ones that are very impatient ) no AC in the restaurants. Your literally sweating your life away while eating. Some workers are very rude and some are very nice ( as long as you tip them good ) There’s tons and tons of mosquitos everywhere ( i completely understand as it’s Mexico but we got attacked left home with blisters ) there’s huge cockroaches along the property especially at night. ( Never seen this at a resort ) Alcoholic drinks kind of suck unless your at the restaurants. There’s a lot of cabanas along the property however you gotta snag them EARLY! ( 6-7am early ) Beach SUCKS!!!! super dirty. Lots of seaweed everywhere and water looks brown ! Hope this helps the next family.
