Lovely resort. It is clean, well appointed and the staff is accommodating to most requests. Beach was nice. Bartender, Gustavo, at the swim up bar was excellent! He kept the shots coming whether we wanted them or not! The buffet food was good but not excellent which is understandable for the amount of people they have to cater to. Fine dining was a joke because if you did not log in immediately at 8am to book your reservation you were out of luck. In our 3 attempts we were able to obtain 1 reservation for 9pm at Sensei. This was a common complaint among the people we met. We agreed to a sales presentation for their vacation club but the "manager" was very offended we would not spend OUR $40k on their club. The evening shows were very fun and entertaining. I WOULD recommend the resort but steer clear of the 2 hour sales presentation and don't expect fine dining at the nicer restaurants every evening. Sensei was passable. Los Girasoles was excellent!

Our 2nd trip to this resort. The beach is smooth but the rain kicked up the seaweed from the previous week so we mostly stayed by the pool, except for daily walks. Pools were clean with plenty of chairs and poolside service. Many options to choose. Plenty of entertainment at the swim up bar pool but we chose the quieter one. Made many friends. All staff was very friendly. We dislike the constant push to upgrade or buy a membership. They need to tone that down. A great place we would return to.

This was a beautiful property with lots of outside space. Service was great in some areas and poor in others. Not consistent. The a la carte restaurants we always booked ar 8am and when you did get in, portions were small and they always tried to upsell a $100usd bottle of wine. Beach was well maintained and drinks flowed freely. I would say it is a 4/5. Not much to do there though.

Our expectations were met and then some at the Ocean Coral and Turquesa resort. The service and amenities were all top notch, and the staff were beyond friendly and professional. Every meal experience was top quality, and the options were diverse and plentiful. Pools and beach were well maintained, and our room was clean and comfortable.

This was a fun clean vacation hotel and we were here over New Years! There were lots of dining options and we were lucky that we booked through Expedia, so we had the benefit of having a concierge that booked our restaurants for us. Other people who didn't have this found it difficult to book restaurants. The pools and beach were lovely and there was lots of action happening at one of the pools all day. Lots of daily activities were for the privileged section only which I didn't love. The other thing that wasn't great was the night entertainment. I would rate that about a 6/10 to 7/10 most nights. There were a couple of good bands that they had. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were really nice, big, and clean. Great coffee shop. Beach was nice, pools were clean, and really nice. There were lots of chairs at all places, but you still had to head out quite early to get a spot everyday, likes most hotels. We were 3 families that traveled together with teenagers and we all had a great time! New years was a blast. We would return again.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms are not extremely modern or luxurious but everything else about this resort was amazing. The staff,the food,activities and so much more, made staying here worth it.

Very nice hotel for the price you pay. Drinks were great food was decent, especially hibachi was a great experience and really good food. Bar was fun and had excellent staff shoutout to Eduardo he was the best and made our experience even better! Had a really good fire show one night as well. Pool and beach were clean and it was overall a great experience, I would definitely visit again!

It seems as if this place has seen better days. Food was average, half of it is either not labelled, or mislabeled. They evidently prioritize cost-cutting over service, to maximize profits. The only highlights was the entertainment, which was well organized and had good variety and quality.
