I spent 5 days with my family at the Coral & Turquesa Cancun and I have nothing but good things to say about this location. From the moment we arrived we noticed the level of attention guests received, we were given a closer room to the lobby and pools as my wife was in crutches at the time of arrival and from there everything else that followed was just great. Top level entertainment, super friendly staff, very clean facilities, out of this world food at the restaurants, overall just a great experience and I would absolutely recommend this resort specially for families.

We booked two rooms next to each other. While one room was cleaned on time, the other was consistently left dirty for another 2–3 hours. If we asked housekeeping to come later because we were in the room, they wouldn’t return that same day, no matter what time it was. The restaurants were fine, but the service from the waitstaff definitely left room for improvement. The biggest disappointment of the trip, however, was the beach. There was an overwhelming amount of seaweed — stacked up to six feet high in several piles — unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. The cleaning staff appeared busy, but in reality, very little progress was made, and the smell carried across the entire resort. Overall, this experience fell short of expectations and left us disappointed.

It was great overall, but I wished there was more option for the breakfast. Not just only one buffet. Also, you have to reserve the restaurant for the night super early, or it’s going to be fully booked. The staff was very pleasant and the room were clean and comfortable !

My boyfriend and I stayed at this resort for 4 days and have no complaints! Kind and accommodating staff re always one of my priorities and this resort knocked it out of the park. Upon arrival we were immediately helped and checked in. We changed and went straight to the pool. Some outstanding service shoutout go to Ricardo a server and Gustavo a bartender, they made our experience memorable and we really appreciated how fast and good quality the drinks were. This resort did have nightly entertainment with some nights better than others. But my boyfriend and I prefer a chilled out/ family friendly vibe anyway so we were fine with it. The aquatic show was amazing!! The food was decent. Buffet was solid as well as Villa Marina and La Girasole. Since our time was limited we didn’t try all the restart other guests liked Hibachi as well. Overall, i recommend this resort for people of all ages and not to mention the resort is very budget friendly.

Honestly the resort isn’t terrible, but my friend and I visited Ocean El Faro in Punta Cana and that resort set high expectations for us, so we were dissapointed with the franchises location in cancún. We were dissapointed with the cleanliness of our initial room at Ocean Coral & Turquesa so we asked to change it. Front desk changed our room. There is only one restaurant open past 10pm and the chicken was raw. The buffet food had a wide selection, something for everyone.

I would say the food was the biggest thing of desire. Most of the time food felt stale or left out for a bit. Especially the room service. The service was amazing very attentive and kind.

The staff was great especially Gustavo in the swim up pool bar always happy and willing to make you smile very polite and friendly need more staff like him. What I didn’t like was the free spa they offer you if you take a tour of the upper classy side because when you decided no the attitude changes from the staff. So please be aware not to do this just for a 20 min spa
