We were 6 families ( 11 adults and 16 kids including teenagers ).First the good. Clean hotel and good rooms only if you stay at the new facilities that have such as ventus ha. Don’t stay at the marina el
Cid itself !! Facility has multiple pools and great for families.
Now the bad ! Smell of the seaweed was horrible and we could not use the ocean at all time which was a huge disappointments. What you see on Expedia is a completely different pic from what you actually see. Food was mostly below average . Buffet was ok but restaurants were horrible. I don’t know where they get the chefs from but honestly their cooking skills are mediocre and need to learn a lot. The only buffet that was relatively good was the Dolores restaurant. All the rest was awful that they were nights we stayed hungry. The worst was the kobo night which is the hibachi from chewy meat that you can’t consume to calculates portions that left us with open mouth barely enough for a 5 year old. Also , the internet they give you 2 codes for a family of 3 and you can only use one device so it was very inconvenient as if I wanted to use my iPad I could not as I had to stay with same device !! Also connection was horrible. Lastly , 0 entertainment at night after 10pm you are bored out of your mind. In all I would never stay in this hotel again.
