The property was very family-oriented. Lots of activities for all age groups. (Games, contests, water aerobics, etc. There is also a teen room (available for 12-8). Several pools to go and lounge. The biggest perk for my teenage boys was the huge pool and the center piece to jump off. Variety of food options were endless. Everyday was different and never the same. *Various restaurants and the ability to go to neighboring hotels Ventus and Ventus Ha in addition to El CID. The ONLY disappointing thing was the beach. It was durty and smelly due to seaweed. (We arrived when beach crews were cleaning the seeweed) The pools and pool activities kept them busy and engaged. Unlimited strawberry 🍓 frozen drinks for them :) Staff was very friendly and phenomenal. Cleaniness was great! Easy to get around especially in in golf carts. Downtown Puerto Morelos is only 1 mi away. Had a great and relaxing time. 1st in Puerto Morelos (previously been to Hotel Zone)in the past.

Let’s start with the cons: If you’re looking for a “beach” resort, this would not be the one. The poor excuse for a “beach” they have is very small blocked with huge bags and has brown water. Drinks are very miss/lucky if you hit. 8/10 they gave you whatever they saw on a tray, not what you ordered. I only ordered simple drinks, knowing it was all inclusive, ie. margarita, tequila sunrise, paloma. Even sodas/lemonades were wrong or disgusting. Drinks were very weak as well. We had a plumbing issue in our room where sewage overflowed from a drain on the floor. They fixed the issue, but I had to call 3 times for someone to come and disinfect the floor, and when she came, she tried to use a dry cloth, which did absolutely nothing. Check in/check out was the slowest process I have ever seen. And finally, the reservation system for the sit down restaurants was ridiculous. We were there for a week, and was not able to get but one reservation on the last night we were there, all of the restaurants were booked from day 1, and we were not told we needed to book in advance. We had to eat that the buffets our entire trip, which wouldn’t have been our choice. Service was way more miss than hit as well. Pros: family/kid friendly, cool shows, clean room, most of the food was good, they provide mosquito repellent. We aren’t “budget” travelers, but we booked this vacation last minute, so we wanted to save some and the reviews looked great. We won’t be returning, you get what you pay for.

The hotel itself was nice and clean, the food was better than other all inclusive places I’ve stayed in and wasn’t as crowded. The restaurants are spread over 3 hotels, so there’s a bit of walking. You can call a golf cart, but sometimes they’re too busy and take a long time. There was a lot of seaweed when we went, so the beach wasn’t accessible and the smell of it carried to the pool area. I would’ve given them more stars, but we had a reservation error by Expedia and neither the hotel or Expedia were helpful in resolving it, so we ended up paying over $800 extra on an Expedia mistake that would’ve been less than $200 when we originally booked. We weren’t the only ones with issues, so it seems like it’s pretty common for Expedia and the hotel to get the reservations wrong.

This was a decent place to stay with a lot of different dining options and a big property so nothing ever felt crowded. There were a few issues, however, the main problems were the seaweed that choked the shoreline and the resulting, ever present smell.

Beautiful place love the garden ! There is a lot options for eating even make a reservation for really fancy restaurants in the hotel love everything about this place! The beach was no good because of sargasso but that’s Mother Nature so there’s nothing they can do about we have to suck it up with the bad smell !! The golf cars employees some of them are rude I would say like 3 of them are very unprofessional! Rude and mad other than that zero problems!

I travel to Cancun a lot and have stayed in a lot of places, I have never been to a hotel where you cannot even get in the ocean because of the severity of the large rocks on the beach. Terrible. I mention of that on the website. It should say, “too many rocks at the beach, some cannot even get into the ocean.” Also, only two devices can connect to the WiFi?? There were 4 of us!

The resort is nice, clean, and well kept landscape. The beach is not good at all. Not suitable for swimming. The decaying sargassum is out of the resort’s control. However, the cement barriers at the beach make the deeper water not accessible. The water is too shallow to even wade in.
