We recently stayed at an all-inclusive resort in Cancun and unfortunately had a mixed experience. While the property itself was beautiful and the fine dining restaurants on-site were excellent—both in terms of food quality and attentive service—the overall experience left us disappointed.
One of the biggest issues we encountered was the general attitude of the staff. Aside from the fine dining servers, most of the staff we interacted with were noticeably rude or indifferent. Simple requests felt like inconveniences, which is not what we expected from a resort at this price point.
The biggest disappointment was housekeeping. Upon arrival, we noticed our bed sheets were visibly dirty. When we requested clean sheets, we were told there were none available at the hotel, which was honestly shocking. We had no choice but to deal with it for the night.
Another consistent frustration was with the bartenders. Service at the bars was extremely slow, even when there weren’t many guests waiting. It often felt like getting a drink required far more patience than it should.
While we enjoyed aspects of our trip—especially the fine dining experiences—we would hesitate to recommend this resort until service standards improve.
