The staff is awesome and very friendly. The resort does not do a good job telling you about required dinner reservations/specials and then has a very limited number for these events. It's supposed to be an all inclusive resort.

The service was wonderful and every staff member was great, the bathrooms were small, this place reminds me of a vintage style Mexico. I would like maybe some updated showerheads in the bathroom, hair conditioner and an overall repaint.There was lots of variety in food options, but we loved the tacos at dinner the best. This is not your American fare, so the variety is not what some maybe used too, but we really enjoyed it all. There were not many people who participated in the activities, so that made it hard to enjoy, i think people were there to dive. Which I highly recommend when coming here.

we had a wonderful experience here! the hotel room is a bit simple but super clean. the staff here is super kind and helpful. we did all inclusive and amazed by the variety of fruit they have. we love it! obvisoupy you can eat and drink as much as you want… beach bar is great! they also have a nice small playa but perfect for afternoon swim and snorkeling.

Just OK.
Just OK. For the amount of money we paid, we've had much better quality of food and more upscale atmosphere at other hotels in Cozumel. We certainly didn't expect much, but the food at the buffet was terrible, and the vibe felt like eating at a nursing home facility cafeteria. They were doing construction in the room right next to ours, and they woke us up with VERY LOUD hammering, drilling, tile cutting, etc. The staff was very friendly though.

Everything about the resort made for a wonderful 10-day vacation for my wife and me. I will only mention the hotels weak points that could raise concern for some others. For us, finding a lounger at the pool or beach that was well shaded, was not always possible. Some might be turned off by the fact that access to the ocean is by ladder then swimming. For those with children, only hands-on entertainment will work. Otherwise, an excellent resort.

I have stayed at Hotel Cozumel for over 15 years multiple times every year. I have always been satisfied with the how I was treated like family by the staff. However, if I’m put in a handicap room again, when I am not handicapped and the hotel is not full I will not come back and I will seek out a new place to stay. This has happened in December 2023 and April 2024. I have always felt safe here and I’ve always felt safe walking several miles every day.

We had a lovely stay here for 2 weeks. The food was excellent, just opt for the fresh food which is cooked on the grill and you wont be disappointed. I loved having a freshly made omelette everyday. It's super close to town, 30 minute walk or 5 minute drive, so it was close to all the essential things. What holds me back putting on anymore stars is that the whole hotel is a bit tired and could do with a refurb. The towels could do with being changed too. However, for a lower end of the market cost hotel it was great value and we had a wonderful time.

Not many food choices. Limited activities. Good for older couples looking to relax but its basically just a hotel with a pool. The rooms are outdated. We had 2 rooms (6 people) one rooms bathtubs paint was peeling and corroding. The curtains were stained, had to ask for towels to be replaced 3 out of the 7 days we were there. They would take the towels when cleaning the room and leave us with nothing or less than needed.the staff was friendly and tried to be as helpfull as possible
