"Very happy with this trip"
Best: 3 lovely pools with swim-up bars - tried all 3 twice. Great margaritas - love the pools. My recommendation: there are a lot more non-smokers than smokers. I really wish you would make the areas non-smoking. There were even people smoking in the pool. It is gross to breathe in these fumes. More best: food was really good starting with the breakfast buffet; the lunch buffet and snack bars - to the dinner buffets and specialty restaurants. Service was also excellent. Room was very clean and nicely furnished. Other recommendations: please provide a map of the property at check-in. I had to go back to the lobby and ask 3 people to get one. I agree with other reviews that the walkways are dangerous - I tripped once and almost fell - the surface is too rough. Please consider non- smoking. All in all I really like the resort and have already booked another stay here

Hotel was outstanding, nice clean rooms with a great ocean view. Drinks were cheap and had a bar area for adults only. Pool was very nice and snorkeling was great just off of the hotel. Fishing boats and dive boats would pick you up at the waters edge.

Coral Princess Golf & Dive Resort is the ultimate getaway, located on the North side of the island with private access to the beach and San Juan Reef. A private location but close to San Miguel.

"Beautiful resort"
This is a great resort despite the so so reviews I read. The good was very good except a few items but overall good. Room was OK, nothing special. The staff is fantastic, remembered our names and what we drink! Booked our excursions right at the hotel lobby and they did an awesome job giving great info and directions although we probably overpaid doing it there.

"Nice, quite place, just needs a few tweaks..."
Upon arrival, we were met by friendly staff with a strict check-in time of 3pm. The place is gorgeous, outright well kept grounds that look like a jungle, and clean rooms. The beach has a small footprint but doesn't feel overcrowded. Every staff member we met was friendly, gracious, and eager to make the stay pleasant. Watch out in the front area for the "time share" group and "excursion group" as they can hound. Our room was cleaned daily but was damp and dusky due to the humidity. We fixed it by lighting a candle at night, closing all windows, and putting a towel against the bottom of the door. The linens were good, mattresses on the budget end, and they are a little stingy with towels. We kept having to ask for enough for three people. Guys, pack some long pants and closed shoes if you want to eat at the nicer restaurants. I didn't as it was a beach vacation and we weren't allowed to try them. Speaking of food, it was always fresh and plentiful but it tasted like we ate the same thing for each meal. After 7 days, it got old quick. There are fixed times that food is served, be sure to get the daily flier from reception. On a side note, they must have had water issues during our stay as the shower and sink smelled like the mangrove area but it did clear up later during our stay. Overall, the hotel is smaller sized in room count than most but is very spread out. We never felt crowded by other guests. It was a nice place to just hang out and relax.

"Will be returning"
We had a wonderful experience here, already planning our trip back(with the hold this time). We went with our best friends-another couple and it was perfect. We each had our own room but right next to each other, this worked out great! Lots and lots of food options although they never change. It's the same foods at each place everyday. If you want to make reservations at the three reservation only restraunts do it on the first day for all three. They may end up being a late meal but that was ok for us. Italiano was our favorite of them all. If you go out and about for food I recommend Ernesto's across the street and also a place called guidos. Guidos was my favorite food the whole time visiting Mexico. Drinks=Amazing!!! If you like to drink they got you covered! The sports bar is open until 2 am Pool: get up as early as you can and bring a towel down to find a chair. They fill up fast and early. We would do this and go back to our hotel to drink coffee. They will try to get you to go through a 90 minute presentation, the deal to be members is a joke but it was worth all the free adventures we got. The best was getting a jeep for 24 hours, we drove around the whole island. We forgot yo use our tequila tour vouchers oops. We also got free snorkeling, so worth it!! Pools are great and clean but the hot tub is a COLD tub. Awful, freezing bubbles of just sadness.

Our Guide To Cheap Cozumel Hotels

Sometimes the culture of Mexico City calls to you, tempting you to its high altitude with the promise of Aztec architecture and neighborhoods densely packed with art and culture. When winter rolls around, you can swear you hear the Baja Peninsula begging you to stop by for a week of invigorating surfing. Meanwhile, just off the east coast of the Yucatan Peninsula, the island of Cozumel beckons you to come play on its beaches and snap photos of its crystal blue water. The destination may be a popular cruise port, but there’s more to Cozumel than a few hours shopping for souvenirs and stretching your legs. A wise wanderer such as yourself can spend an entire vacation diving in the Palancar Reef and learning about tequila at Discover Mexico Cozumel Park.

You’ll stand before Chankanaab National Park, admiring its soft, white sand beach with crystal clear water. Watching the tide come in, you’re tempted to go for a float—and we trust that you will follow the feeling. Throw on your snorkel mask and head to the iron shore. These limestone beaches take your breath away and melt away any trace of worry. While iron shore beaches might be tough on the feet, the rocky surface makes them the perfect spot to attract beautiful wildlife. Book your stay in Cozumel hotels now, wise wanderer, and don’t forget to pack plenty of sun screen.

    Where to Stay in Cozumel

The best places to stay in Cozumel poise you to gain easy access to the coast. Within minutes of opening your peepers in the morning, you can be in your swimsuit and on the sand. When you’re in paradise, there isn’t a moment to waste, after all. Book a room in one of these welcoming resorts, and you always have a comfortable place to retire when your day playing in the waves comes to an end:

    • Presidente InterContinental Cozumel Resort & Spa: This presidential accommodation makes it easy to soak up the Caribbean climate Cozumel enjoys all year-round. Have a superb soak in the spa tubs overlooking the ocean, or bring a book to the manicured lawns and relax in a hammock. Back in your private suite, plush bathrobes make lounging in comfort easy as pie.
    • Sunscape Sabor Cozumel- All Inclusive: The Sunscape resort takes its all-inclusive title pretty seriously, and you’re treated like a celebrity from the moment you arrive. They roll out the red carpet for your kids too—literally. Once you’ve completed the fun check-in process, grab a bite at the lounge and check out the resort’s daily itinerary. Yoga, Ping-Pong, and theater are regularly on the agenda.
    • Secrets Aura Cozumel - All Inclusive: Sitting on your breezy terrace, it’s hard to come up with a reason to leave Secrets Aura. Your well-appointed room is starting to feel a lot like home. Stay in a swim-up room, and you can start splashing around within five minutes of waking up. Most balconies have a private hammock, so relaxation is a cinch. The resort also offers private scuba tours and an open-air theater.
    • El Cozumeleno Beach Resort All Inclusive: You can’t master the art of chess on a giant board at all hotels in Cozumel, but can do it at El Cozumeleno Beach Resort. Once you’ve reached checkmate, don your swimsuit and go for a relaxing float in the outdoor swimming pool. The swim up bar means refreshments are never far away. Just across the street is the Cozumel Country Club. Play a round of 18 under the sun and return to the resort for a lovely dinner at El CocalRestaurant.

Some travelers show up to Cozumel with one swimsuit, but not you, wise wanderer. You will be fully prepared for your long days on the sand and afternoons spent lounging near your resort’s outdoor pool. When you finally strap on your tennis shoes, you’re off to hike the dramatic cliffside trails. On a whim, you may decide to depart your Cozumel lodging and embark on a deep sea fishing charter. You know what they say: The most meaningful experiences can be the least expected. Book one of our Cozumel accommodations now, and you’re one step closer to the beachy vacation of your dreams.
