This resort is beautiful, beach is rocky but you can walk to the sister property next door and the beach is pretty. We booked Platinum however it was not worth the expense. There were too many exceptions, my husband and I went into the ice cream parlor and were denied service since we were not executive. We were asked to move at the beach even though the sign said Platinum. It was all very confusing. Also the requirement for long pants and closed toe shoes at dinner is ridiculous, people are on vacation and want to relax.

I was actually a little bit worried after reading some of the reviews on this resort. But my worries were very quickly put to rest. We had an amazing time from the entertainment to the pools to the staff to the food from the romantic dinner on the rooftop to the spa treatment that we received. It was absolutely amazing and we will be returning.

Incredible. We had a group of friends and couldnt have asked for a better time. Jonathan and Luna (i think that was their names) running the entertainment evey night did a great job. Every night had entertainment. Casino games. A mexican game night. And the prizes were hats tshirts etc. Not just junk. We did a fishing excursion. Chefs Rubicel and Hector cooked up the fish we caught and it was delicious. The food was great at the buffet. Im usually a "reservation every night" guy but the buffet was so good and had pretty much all the dishes anyway. You really do go up to the counter and pick out a steak. And they cook it perfectly. The tacos were great. There was a pork station that I will compare every buffet to now. They did sushi one night and brought in the chef from the restaurant and he hand made it for you. So good. The beach resturant was great. Hot food and a nacho bar. Ceviche out in the sun isnt for me but the wings were way better than I expected. Good drinks. Theyll make you whatever you want and a good selection. Good friendly service from every one. Stage shows were fun. Good pool. We were back in the suite area so it was nice and quiet. The foam party was cool. The batting cages are probably more fun in Not August. We were melting but they worked. Slight issue with our reservation but the guy in the office knew exactly how we could correct it. Bed was pretty uncomfortable. Lock your sliding door if on the first floor. Coatis know how to open them.

This was our 2nd stay at this resort and we will come back for more. The adults only shows at night are very fun and engaging. We loved our swim out room at building 3 because it was close to the main pool with all activities and music. Entertainment during the day was excellent, however, some activities were cancelled to rainy weather. Shout out to Rhamses, Joni, and Luna from the entertainment team for making our stay comfortable and fun. Also, Bryan from Yucatan buffet was the best waiter ever. We will definitely visit again.

We loved our swim-out, the entertainment at night was good, and the beach was nice. The negatives were: poor quality and selection of meals for room-service, no self-serve drinks, no towels at beach or pools, only one beer on tap, and not a great selection of restaurants. Didn’t feel like a 5 star.

For an all-inclusive, you were required to buy something to get what you already paid for. To sit at a certain table, I was required to buy a bottle of wine (we don't drink wine) at the steakhouse. I was required to buy lobster for teppanyaki. No one else at my table was required to purchase it, so that was a little heart breaking and felt scammed. Drinks were good and the bartending staff did a nice job. Food was by far the biggest disappointment. The buffet didn't follow its own schedule and often times wasn't open for lunch/dinner on time. The food seemed like it was sitting under the heaters for hours. Most of it was very dry. The steak house used meats I would feed my dogs, Teppanyaki chicken and lobster required water to wash it down. Pasta was watery and flavorless at the Italian restaurant. Room service was probably the "best" food at the resort but took forever to get after ordering. Much of the staff seemed crabby or not happy to be there. Woke one morning to find a bunch of empty cups and dirty plates sitting around the pool near our neighbor's room from a previous evening. We will not be returning or recommending this resort or any sister locations to anyone.

This was our second time visiting this resort because we really enjoyed our first time however, this time around, we felt like the service had declined specially in the restaurants and some of the bartenders at the swim up bar. We tried having steaks a couple of nights at different restaurants and they could just not cook them right. The temperature of the meat was always wrong. We sent to the Japanese restaurant and we got no service. Other people being seated after us were getting service. We kept asking for a menu twice which we never got. We got a drink but no one checked back to see if we wanted more. We left the restaurant The bartenders on the family side of the resort where absolutely incredible but that was not the same experience on the adults only side. We took another couple with us because we enjoyed our first time so much and we were sorely disappointed. Our friends were having issues getting towels for the beach as well Still have to give credit to the rest of the staff who were amazing and very helpful to everyone The resort is beautiful and beautifully kept. Very clean

We first checked in with Jorge who provided fast service and was very polite and easy to deal with. He gave us a complimentary drink and a room upgrade. He was able to explain the resort to us in a manner that was very easy to understand. I will say that my wife and I have been to Mexico quite a few times now at many different resorts and this was by far the best for food/drinks, quiet resort, staff friendliness. Now let’s get to the shows they put on at night. Wow they were amazing. I can’t believe how well done they are! The actors/dancers are phenomenal at what they do. We have already recommended to friends and family that this is the place to be in Mexico. I could go on for a long time but whoever is reading this should defintely attend this resort. We will be back and that’s a guarantee!

I truly think that this is a beautiful, underrated resort. The wildlife didn't bother me at all. You also get access to two other sister resorts. This resort does a lot as far as guest entertainment (movies, parties, other events) with that rooms on the “party side” are definitely louder. My only con was the food. Flavor wasn't really there and during certain times you will be extremely limited on whats available.
