"The pool was a little greasy from the sun screen, I assume. Room was a little loud from the street. I used ear plugs. The only thing I can suggest adding is have more water stations to fill the bottles. Were a little hard to find. All around great place."

"We enjoying coming back to Meloria every year. We love the kitchen amenities and extra room in the larger hotel room. The staff is wonderful, everyone speaks sufficient English and helped with my terrible Spanish. The property is slightly aged with normal wear and tear. The pool is nice and cool and the rooftop has a wonderful view of the square where Día De Los Muertos took place. The pros, the price is awesome. The hotel is a block away from Walmart and Mega for shopping. The Ado Alterna is one block away. A circle K at the corner and surrounded by lots of restaurants. The beach is 5 to 6 blocks away, everything is walkable. I felt safe walking around by myself as a woman. Our hotel room was clean, it had great A/C. The Internet worked perfectly. The cons, the bed could use a foam topper or new mattress it was a little hard and lumpy. The shower never got hot, it stayed Luke warm with low water pressure. At night around 3 am we didn’t have water a few times. It is Mexico and this was a perfect Mexican hotel. It has its quirks but we accept them and enjoy our stay. If you aren’t looking for a Marriott experience while paying less than a motel 6 in the states, this is the perfect place. It’s clean, it’s safe and it’s affordable."
