Maroma, a privately owned beach, is located in the Mexican State of Quintana Roo along the southeastern coast of the Caribbean Sea. There are no hotels on the actual beach since the land between the highway and the beach used to be mainly jungle—the only access was from the sea. "The food and drinks were amazing and all you can eat and drink! Unique flavors from numerous ethnicity's. The breakfast buffet is perfect and has everything to offer. The restaurants are open for breakfast also and are lovely as well. My husband and I had the best day at the golf course. The green was very well kept and the holes were very fun. There was wild life everywhere. We had dinner at the Italian place at the golf course after and it was divine. The couples massage was perfect and the spa area was so relaxing. All of the staff were so kind and helpful. The beach was not the best because of the seaweed but we were expecting it after reviewing the location and the time of year so it wasn’t a hindrance. Our favorite pool was the adult only Unique Day club. We are already planning our trip back. The Grand Moon Palace is an AMAZING all inclusive."

"Lovely hotel, enjoyed the à la carte restaurants experience especially the spice restaurant. Enjoyed going for our daily visit to the Aroma bar, had a cup of oat cappuccino, friendly service. Rosa was very helpful on the front desk. The staff at Excellence Rivirera were all friendly and very welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing by the ‘lazy river’ we would definitely book another stay."

"3rd time here, now got the privilege superior room which is helping to get breakfast and lunch at the BLOVED restaurant next to beach but keep in mind the dinner there needs reservation. One thing reception people didn't mention. Keep in mind steak is not as should be in US, here is marinated for days and then still cannot cook it right, The cartilages are tough, so maybe ask for chicken!! used to be a restaurant Adelitas next to the pool but now they serve only dinner there, so you have to go back to main restaurant - abut 1000ft- 300m thru the jungle alley, it is nice but cumbersome- one good thing the alley is covered so shade all the time. the crepe place near the pool is not good, they smear with cheese or jam and that is it. Economy, economy. also 3 yrs ago you could get Havana CLub 7yrs old for everybody not you get max 3yrs old for priviledge, that sucks. Rooms are nice the girls do an amazing job so please give a little tip, The rest of places DO NOT TIP, they dont care and don't deserve, plus they put all in a pool then divide so whatever."

"This resort is extremely clean and the room has everything you need. The food was the best resort food I’ve ever had. The staff were super friendly, professional and helpful. The resort was well maintained and I would definitely come back. The only downside was all the seaweed on the beach. However, the staff tried to clean it up the best they could and it is out of their control. I had a wonderful stay."
