Love this resort. This is trip number 2 for us. The resort is clean food is very good. Smaller resort adults only which is what brings us back. Staff is very friendly. Entertainment team does a very good job keeping the guest engaged during the day and evening.

We just came back from a 4 night stay. Really nice resort with cute walking paths and bridges set in a rainforest. Room was a good size with balcony. Pool was large and plenty of chairs. Beach had tons of seaweed, they clean it but it just keeps accumulating. Water is full of it. Food was fine, Italian rest was really good, breakfast and lunch buffet was alright, Mexican restaurant was awful. Night entertainment was ok. One night was Broadway show, that was amazing! Other nights were just parties by the pool and not our style so we didn’t go. Staff was ok, could be more attentive. Slow service most of the time. Overall had a great trip.

The property was significantly misrepresented on your platform. Upon arrival, it was immediately clear that the hotel did not match the advertised photos or descriptions. The room was not updated or clean, the pool was in poor condition, the beach was not maintained, and the glassware at the outdoor bar appeared dirty, scratched and stained. The overall condition of the property felt neglected and unhygienic. We were extremely uncomfortable and concerned for our health and safety. My friend and I stayed at the property for less than an hour before deciding to leave and find alternative accommodations. This unexpected situation caused us to lose nearly an entire afternoon of our trip searching for a replacement hotel. Not to mention the amount of money we had to spend to find a hotel last minute. Overall a horrible experience!

The property is outdated and the service it was absolutely horrible. They one bartender in the pool bar and 1 server walking around the pool. The breakfast buffet wasn't very good at all had to beg for coffee. There was absolutely no entertainment.

We had an amazing stay at the Catalonia Royal Tulum. The resort itself is paradise. It is hard to imagine a more stunning location. From the lobby you immediately recognize the serene location. Staff were friendly and helpful right away. We were met with welcome drinks and cold towels. Walking through the rainforest to our rooms and the beach is wonderful. It never gets old to traverse this gorgeous location. The white sand beach is magical. We loved all of the facilities. The pool is excellent, especially with the swim up bar. There are some great food options, too. We particularly loved Mamma Mia and Steakville for dinners. The service at those locations is incredible, and the food is exceptional. Each restaurant offers a fine dining experience with 3 or 4 course meals. Carmen at Mamma Mia was a great server and made our dinner experiences so pleasurable as well. The La Palapa buffet exceeded our expectations. We loved the fresh tacos at lunch. There are so many food options, and a great mix of local options and familiar, homey options too. Quesabelle was such a wonderful hostess who consistently made us feel welcomed and happy every time we stepped in for a meal. The staff and facilities are amazing, and the natural beauty of the resort will take your breath away. We loved our experience at this resort in Tulum and we highly recommend you go visit as well if you are looking for a luxurious, classy, relaxing, beautiful vacation.

The property is beautiful and I love how it feels like a natural jungle. The pool was great and we had such a great time hanging out in the pool. I was disappointed in Bloved, as we paid extra for upgrading and the food wasn’t even that great. The drinks were very inconsistent, some super sweet, some with no sweetness, others made completely different.

this is a beautiful resort, but if you can't walk a lot, this is not the place for you. There's a lot of walking. It's beautiful in the forest, but there is a lot of walking and they don't have umbrellas on the beach and when it's really really sunny, you can get sunburnt so be very careful. The beach is gorgeous and beautiful. The sand is white, but there's a lot of seaweed and the waves are not so small so if you want to go in the water a lot, there are lots of waves. The service is great. The only other thing I would complain about is that you have to make reservations for the restaurants yourself and it's a little bit difficult. You have to use an app.
