This is not an Adults only hotel, It has adults only rooms and a pool! After a 15-hour journey, or a 70 hour stay I experienced significant delays accessing my room due to repeated issues with the room key, which required multiple trips to reception in high temperatures.
The first room assigned to me had a broken bed and a persistent damp odour in the room . After further delays another 3.5 hours I was moved to a second room, which was acceptable; however, the bathroom was in poor condition, with a broken shower and outdated facilities. Despite raising these concerns, I was informed that the hotel was now fully booked and no immediate alternative could be provided. Additionally, noise from a film projected outside my room was also not what I needed. I sent an email during the night to rate my checkin experience. Only then was I was eventually offered an alternative room late in the afternoon, but as I explained the timing terrible as I was leaving to go to a wedding at another hotel. Overall, this experience fell far below my expectations and was the most disappointing hotel stay I have had in recent memory. Even on checkout as I explained my issues I was told that "some guests do not share you opinion" Once again only in my opinion I have stayed at much better and not adults only.
