I just got back from staying here the week of February 19th to the 26th and I read all of the reviews and was very hesitant and nervous about staying as it didn’t get a lot of great or even good reviews, but I kept an open mind and I am not a picky person but I still prepared myself that it may not be that great. All I can say is don’t read the reviews lol except this one and go there with an open mind and see for yourself. I did and I have to say that from the time we landed and got our shuttle service and arrived was nothing but amazing. The hotel had a jungle feel and at first we saw one big jungle pool with a bar and thought ok it’s pretty shaded and was cold but it still was beautiful, then we ate at buffet which I could always find something at and every night was a theme of kind of what they had for food, then the next day we realized there was a whole other area u see the road which I was so skeptical of as the pics show it like the hotel is so far away but it was not and the under bridge tunnel was pretty cool and it led you to the beach area cove which was beautiful and that’s where you can snorkel, then there was an adult infinity pool with a bar in the pool and also on the other side is like the family side where there is another pool with swim up bar and two areas that look like hot tubs that are literally in the ocean out on a balcony that are a pool not hot but was awesome for our group like we had

The resort was beautiful & very clean!!! The beach area & pools were very clean and pristine!!! I LOVED THAT!!!!! My husband LOVED the snorkeling!!!! I think the worst thing was trying to walk on the rocked cobblestone, very unstable walking conditions!!! It made my legs sore. We will NOT be back because of that!!! The blue bottle- water fill station is a good idea unfortunately, the water from those filling stations DID NOT taste good at all. We filled our bottles at the restaurant. The waiters didnt bring cream for my coffee, constantly had to ask for that....and when i did ask, they didnt understand me. I thought the food was good, even though there were lots of bad reviews on that. The special restaurants should have bigger portions and it should be hot when its brought out. The rooms were nice & very clean!!! Everything worked great!!! The idea of putting your room key in the white box is a good idea, but i thought it was kinda weird!!! The hot & cold water for the showers was mixed up!!!! In the USA....Cold is on the right, Hot is on the left!!!! My friends took cold showers the first 2 days. Until we told them turn the handle the other way to get hot water and that worked!! The lighting in the bathroom should be brighter!!! But it DID Work!!! The Mayan show and the Fire Show for entertainment was really cool!!!! But there should have been more entertainment or bars open later......we went to our rooms every night by 830, cuz there wasn't much to do

Visited 2/2025. They had a Super Bowl party And the nightly shows were fun. Regarding the reviews I read: showers water was hot and good pressure. We didn’t have any bugs in our room but I did see them spraying a room on the main floor. The buffet food was ok if you got there when it opened. The gym was stupid the equipment was limited, old and broken. The elliptical was insanely loud. The hotel grounds were kept super clean by staff, the stone walkway around the hotel is very rough and uneven. The elevators were in working order while we stayed there but would be a pain if they were not working. The pools were quite cold. The ocean was super cool with the reef right there to snorkel! Online it said snorkel equipment was free but the guy at the hut said only one set was free and I needed to pay $5 for each additional set. Housekeeping did awesome but it was variable if they would fill the mini bar. The restaurants were ok. The only one I really liked was the Mexican one awesome guacamole at the table. He beds were ok a little hard. I don’t know how they do the star rating because I’m not sure I would rate this hotel so high. I do want to say Jesus at the bikini bar was legit the best bartender there! You do have to put your towels out early for a spot as there are limited. The beach was cleaned everyday. I was not pressured into any timeshare or excursion sales but I wasn’t interested in the “free gift”. The private beach made annoying sales non existent.

The setup of this property was probably the best we have ever been to. Loved the pool and beach areas. Very clean in rooms and public areas. Staff was so amazing - especially Nora. Honestly this would be a 5 star rating except for the food. The breakfast buffet was excellent but all else average or below. It was definitely not what we have experienced at other all inclusive. The main buffet was very small, often food was cool, restaurants had some options we found that were ok - but shouldn’t have to search for good food options. The coffee shop was great. Food was disappointing- too bad because this is literally our favorite place we have stayed so far. Step up the food and this would be a 10 star rating.

For starters, the room wasn’t ready. Which is fine but once in the room, it was smaller than I expected based off their pictures. The sink knobs were loose and mildewy underneath them. The room was ok but in a “VIP” ocean view, I expected more. We’re night owls too and once we can in around 3/4am the tv only had 1 English channel that had subtitles in the middle of the screen. We were offered a few perks for going to a timeshare presentation when we arrived but declined until later. We did make a reservation on our first day there for the very next day at the spa to get a pedicure. We were told that 10am wouldn’t work because we’d have to go 1 at a time but at 2pm we could go together. We took the 2pm slot and figured we could see what the resort offered the first full day, which was minimal. We got to the spa at 1:50pm and was told (by the same woman that booked us) we didn’t make a reservation for today and she never seen us before. Now her other coworkers were confused and getting ready to leave. We asked could we see the book and one of the other workers showed us. We looked at the days reservations and our 2pm reservation was blotted out with white out! We went to the front desk to complain and the offered us a couple of massages at the same spa we just left for free but we declined. From there we just ventured into Cozumel daily or Playa del Carmen and enjoyed the amenities of the location. Which was great!! Avoid the Grand Park but go enjoy Cozumel!

Facility is not bad at all but food quality is very poor and bars are only stocked with a limited amount of cheap options. Don’t waste your time here unless you plan to eat elsewhere every meal.
