"Our room, the bed mattress was old and sunk on the left and right, high peak in middle, ocean view was good, trying to find a chairs to relax around the pools, hard to get as people put towels down 430 a.m or earlier. No phones in the room to call front desk in case of emergency. The reservation for the one restaurant was very poor, white wine was like vinegar, chicken break was very difficult to cut. After check out, they didn't even ask how our stay was. The part of the resort was the waiting staff that worked there ass off....will not be going to this resort again. "

"We had great ocean view. There is no beach near by. It is mostly docking area with rocks. So called beach about 2 miles away is rocky too and not beach at all. Food is very expensive and mostly Mexican. But, I did find two amazing Italian and one Indian restaurant. Very aggressive to get Tips in motel, market and all around. Not much help to guide to get there from Cancun airport, what to do around, etc. Visited two best snorkeling spots. Nothing impressive with quality of corral and sea life. Only one kind of fish was there as they were feeding them to take pictures to sell you. This is the place if you want to walk on ocean line and shop in a very safe environment. Not for beach, swimming, or snorkeling. Wi-fi is OK not good to work remotely. Very small Swimming pool is good for 5-6 children to play, not for adults. "

"The pool was very nice but is in need of work. Tiles coming off and tiles missing. Paint around the pool comes off on your bathing suit or back of your thighs. Rooms are clean but dated. Staff the majority are very nice. "

"Beautiful views. Good snorkeling, Quiet street and area. Away from all the cruise ship activity."

"Good size room, clean and modern with a great view of the ocean. 5 min taxi down to the town. Snorkelling and diving gear available from the hotel. The biggest gripe was the very Americanised approach to tipping. Staff seemed to expect a 15% tip minimum for doing the bare minimum, despite service always being slow. Even for the included breakfast, they made a point every day of telling you that the tip is not included. Breakfasts were disappointing, fruit was always just melon and papaya, never a variety. Eggs were always cold, even though they cook them to order? We never tipped at breakfast, and it felt evident that we were treated differently to people who did. I.e. we were often forgotten about, and didn't always receive things like toast or (watered down) juice which was supposed to be included. Unfortunately, I wouldn't actively recommend this hotel. "

"The beach is a small space however once you swim past the small pier there’s plenty of beach to snorkel in. The beach is calm and completely crystal clear for you to snorkel or take a nice swim. The hotel is older but well maintained and very clean. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast included is the best. The restaurant a bit pricey. "
