Hotel is in the heart of the city.

Pros: Loved the breakfast! The bartender was really nice and gave us a great recommendation for my birthday dinner!
Cons: teach maintenance & housekeepers to do their jobs quieter in the early morning hours, customer service needs to be #1 priority at front desk. Smile.
Location: Heart of the city. Shopping, restaurants, taxis, rental scooters, live music, hospital and across the stress from the water but not a beach
First, the great things. This hotel was pleasant enough, would consider staying again but definitely not in the same hallway. The breakfast is wonderful!!! Most of the staff are very nice and helpful. The pool and sunning area is relaxing for reading and cooling off. The common areas are clean and welcoming. Because this hotel I s in the heart of the city, it absorbs all of the city sounds. Our room, #220 was horrible for staff noise. It was right next to the elevator used for the housekeepers and maintenance men who kept their radios on and we woken earlier than we wanted every single morning from both. The halls are tiled and every noise echoes and appears louder. We heard things being dropped, crashed and banged every morning. Quite unpleasant. No sense in complaining because those things won't change. I would also say, the front desk ladies could use some help in customer friendliness. The guys were nice, greeted you with a smile and a good attitude but the ladies not so much. Almost acted like you were bothering them if you asked them a question, after you checked in. Lastly, worst pillows in the world. Look nice when the bed is made, but are too thick and hurt one's neck day after day because your neck feels so propped up.

A relaxing getaway in a great location!

The front desk and Bella, the concierge were friendly and helpful when it came to restaurant recommends, car rental arrangements, and being cheerful all the time whevever we walked by. The pool terrace was a perfect place to watch all the activity at the harbor and have drinks at sunset.

Nice clean hotel

Pros: Breakfast offered eggs cooked for you and large selection of items for everyone.
Cons: Tv English channels
Location: Located on main road downtown across from ocean very easy to get around without a taxi.
The hotel was well located and very clean bed comfortable and staff very nice. The only bad thing is the cable only has a couple English channels and I had requested a king bed and got 2 fulls but breakfast was way above most places free offerings. I would stay again.

Great if you want to be in town

Pros: Clean. Nice breakfest. Location if you want to be in town.
Cons: bottle water fill station. They have wonderful water with lime down by checkin but it's not always available, and maybe they have one.
Location: This is right in the heart of town on Main Street. Very busy area, especially when the cruise ships are in. everything within walking distance.
Nice place. Breakfest was great. Cook was awesome. She makes whatever you want. im getting picky now but the view from balcony, it's very narrow because it's set back so you can't see to the sides. there is also an aqua safari dive shop next door and a pier across the street. All and all a very nice place for the money.

A Gem in the heart of San Miguel

This hotel is very affordable and it's located in the center of San Miguel wherein you can walk downtown doing shopping and eating at restaurants. It's also very close to the pier where you can walk without getting tired. Its close to the water so you can just chill at the beach anytime you want to. They serve breakfast buffet which is inclusive. I just found cockroaches some of the days but I'm not afraid of it. I just tossed them in the toilet bowl. But other than that its a good hotel to stay in if you want affordable place and located in the heart of the city.

Casa Mexicana

Pros: Breakfast ,Room and cleaness
Cons: The pool
Location: beaches, shopping & transportation
It was very pleasant and clean the breakfast each morning was great, it close enough to most of entertainment restaurants, also there a Walmart like store walking distance that very helpful if you need any thing I had a rent car so traveling to beach was easy and if I had to do it again I would have no problem staying in the same hotel!

Very enjoyable experience!

Pros: Friendly, accommodating, helpful staff, great location downtown, clean, quiet!
Cons: We didn't spend much time in the pool area because there are only about ten lounge chairs there and they always seemed to be occupied.
Location: Lots to do here! Shopping within walking distance as well as a grocery store. Chankanaab Park is beautiful and a must see, as well as Paradise Beach.
The hotel lobby is very attractive with a fountain, lots of seating, and a view of the pool and ocean. Lots of interesting art to look at also- While we were waiting to check in we were given a cold drink, which was a nice touch! The room was spacious, clean, nicely decorated, and quiet despite the room being a "city view" room. Our bags were taken up to our room for us which was also unexpected. The breakfast buffet, which is included in the price, was fresh, hot, and delicious. Among the many choices are made to order omelettes and waffles, as well as a variety of other hot dishes, fresh fruit, juices, and coffee. Can get a bit crowded at times, but the staff will assist you in getting a table. My teenage daughter and I stayed at the hotel, and we both found all of the staff we interacted with to be friendly and more than willing to assist us with whatever we needed. Very comfortable "vibe"- lots of shopping close by within walking distance as well as restaurants (our favorite was Palmeras, where we were given a 15% discount due to staying at Casa Mexicana Cozumel). Easy to get a taxi to beaches, parks, and other attractions. Glad we found this hotel and we plan to visit again!
