The Beds were very comfortable and the rooms were very nice. The property is small and everything is in one area from pool, food, activities which can be nice if you are not all about privacy. The only downside is there is not enough pool are for guests and many chairs were reserved for most of the day when those guests did not even use them.

The service at this property is 5 star. No matter where you were-breakfast buffet, pool side, or any restaurant. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. However, our original room was right around the corner from the lobby, which also housed the only inside bar. In the evening, it was *very* loud and trying to sleep was difficult at best. When we asked to be changed to another room we were first told there were no rooms available. Whoops. Then, the front desk very kindly said they wouldn't charge us to change rooms. Um, okay. We had to be a little firm but eventually we were moved. The breakfast buffet was great and lunch by the pool was good. Never tried the lunch buffet. The Mexican restaurant was the most disappointing, while the Italian and the Indian restaurants were fabulous. While I loved the Asian restaurant, my husband ended up with a bout of food poisoning after eating there, which definitely put a damper on things. We know at least one other person who had the same issue. The hotel's only solution was to "call a doctor" but after visiting a local farmacia I was able to get everything he needed. The only sandy part was reserved for VIP's only. Moreover, all of the good pool lounges were also reserved for VIP's. If you smoke, you might not want to stay here, as it is a non smoking property. That is the kind of information that should be prominently displayed on their website. Overall, great location, great staff, but probably won't stay here again.

The resort abides by strict regulations that are set by the Health and Sanitation authorities in Mexico, the health of our guests is paramount to us. We have shared your comments with our Executive Chef, Quality Auditor, F&B Manager as we had no similar reports on the dates of your stay from any other guests, we are a very formal resort and appropriate action will be taken if necessary. Staff was excellent. Food was very good. We did not like the pressure to upgrade the room and the dishonest method to try to get us to book a timeshare pitch (was told he would help w Covid testing). Also, did not like the dock policy with outside dive operators (not allowed at all). Also, did not like the last minute pitch to buy a future stay discount as we were literally walking out the door to leave for the airport.

The staff, food, and drinks were all amazing. Although they have the snorkeling, Kayaking, and paddle boarding, there is not a whole lot to do and very little entertainment.
