"Diving hotel close to the beach."
We have stayed at this hotel for the last 11 years, and we love staying there! The staff has become like a family to us. It is not a fancy, 5 star hotel, but it has very comfortable, attractive rooms, and the staff is wonderful!

"great hotel on a beautiful island"
We have been to Cozumel several times. This is the second time we have stayed at the Palace. Can't say enough about this hotel. Quite a few of the same staff is there from 5yrs ago when we were there. Some of them actually remembered us! Going above and beyond is there daily routine.

"Best vacation ever!"
This has been the best vacation we have taken. The hotel is amazing, the pool is the perfect temperature and the ocean is a couple of feet away where you can snorkel all day. I only recommend working on the rooms, all the humidity made the bath tub a little rusty and some things are starting to fall apart so it might be good to start renovations. Besides that, SO AMAZING.

"Enjoyed my stay"
Great pools and beach with protected ocean swim area. Friendly, fun, accommodating staff. Well kept grounds. All aspects of hotel clean and neat. Nice variety of places to eat. Outdoor entertainment most nights. Food was good and plentiful everywhere and very good in specialty restaurants. A good place to relax and to have fun. .

I stayed here for four days for the Ironman event and found it very good. They accommodated the needs of the athletes and were very helpful in a non invasive manner. I did not take the all inclusive option but ate most of my meals there anyway. The food was good and plentiful. Rooms were simple and clean. My room did not have a fridge but I think the option exists if requested.

"Nice family vacation"
We stayed 12/31/15-1/7/16. Room 203. Big room with nice view. When we got to the room we only had two towels for four people. We asked for more towels and got them within five minutes. The room was clean. the beds are hard. The food was ok. Fernando and all the staff are friendly and hard workers. They all work hard to make your stay enjoyable. If you are a snob and looking for a new super fancy resort go someplace else. If you want a safe secure place with a nice place to snorkel and swim and relax this may be the place for you.

"Explorian Resort relaxing and just what we needed."
Upon check in we were notified we were upgraded to rooms at the newer Explorian at no additional charge. This was the perfect setting for our 4 day get away with the intent to relax! We stayed at the resort the full trip. Food was 4 star, compared to a previous stay at Dreams resort, it was a step down. Dining in all the restaurants was more casual. Coffee bar staff not very friendly. The bar was self serve at times if there wasn't a server there. If there was a server, the wait was often a while to get your drink. Drinks were good, watered down for sure. Pool area was nice, towels were always stocked. The pool at the Explorian was nice and warm like bath water. Rooms had no TV which was great for us! Every morning a picnic basket with coffee, juice, sweet bread was delivered outside the door. Snorkeling gear avail to check out for 1 hour increments. No real beach area. Rocky, but good for some snorkeling-not the best in terms of fish, reef, color like you see in Hawaii. If you're looking for that would advise going off the resort. The Explorian rooms offered activities we didn't partake because the trip was intended to sit and relax. Our kids came along and were in a room right next door to us which was great.

"Rained every day, but Hotel is great"
Ok, now you know that it rained every day. Hardly the hotel's fault. The hotel itself, amenities, service, and staff were all excellent. This is the 5th time I stayed at this hotel. I will stay there again. It is kept up very well. It is the most expensive hotel in Cozumel, but you get what you pay for.
