The staff was helpful and wonderful to be around. The resort is all inclusive, the food at every restaurant was terrible, seemed as if everything was microwaved from Costco. After the 2nd night of our stay, we would take taxi to downtown to dine off property. Housekeeping would only refresh items if requested- needed to ask for the basics like more toilet paper. Each morning of our stay, pool towels were unavailable and when stocked, limit one per person. The pool and beach furniture were old, uncomfortable and covered in mold. Not enough pool/beach furniture for the guests. To obtain a chair, you needed to get it before 7am or you would not have a place to relax. Public restrooms had doors that didn’t close and needed to be better serviced. For the cost of what I paid per night, I was expecting higher quality food and better amenities.

Dreams is located on a beautiful beach and the property itself is quite attractive. The staff goes out of its way to cater to the guests in every way and seems to genuinely enjoy pleasing people. Food options are varied, especially with the ability to access the restaurants at Secrets. My biggest objection was the caliber of many of the clientele, who were loud, obnoxious and yelled obscenities as you would expect at a frat party or Spring Break. The young children have an excuse for wailing, but the adults don’t. I’m not sure what the management could do to discourage this behavior without alienating the guests. The other issue concerned the process for staking out the limited beach chairs. I went down every morning, sometimes as early as 6 am, to place towels on seaside beach chairs. I later learned, the hard way, that unless the towel had a personal item on it, the staff would remove the towel. This was never explained to me and caused disappointment and friction with other guests.

My fiancé and I stayed five days for the first time and looking for a wedding ceremony venue as well. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I HIGHLY recommend Palancar Dive shop next door as we went scuba diving which I am certified but was my fiancé’s first time. Best experience I’ve ever had at a dive shop. The food was good in certain spots ( Italian place at Dreams was excellent… HOWEVER they close many restaurants early which floods other restaurants. My advice is go to a restaurant before you’re very hungry because many places we waited over an hour ( especially sea food restaurant). I had a horrible experience with taxis there… not really Dreams fault but they do let those guys on their property to take tourists so really it is a representation of their company. Taxi dropped us off in a remote location and took off. We were suppose to go to a ranch for horse back riding and they took us to wrong place. Quite the adventure. Overall was paradise the pictures don’t do it justice. The only reason I did not rate as excellent is because they closed down many things all the time. Not sure I’d say was the best hotel I’ve stayed at but the staff were AMAZING . For those that do not know the entire place is smoke free ( they do enforce it) and there are only two far spread spots you can smoke between three connected properties. My fiancé enjoys occasional cigar so was not a huge deal for us but some in my family smoke. Thank you for an enjoyable week Dreams! We enjoyed :-)

Staying at Dreams we could eat at Secret and Sunscape resorts. The food was excellent presentation,variety and good. Only struggle was getting lounging chairs by ocean. Very few with umbrellas. The bed in the room was bad. Overall great vacation.

Felt completely safe here, the entire staff, even the gentleman mowing, were so nice and friendly. A lot of choices of where to eat, did not wait more than 30 minutes and never were turned down because they were closed. Only bad thing is there are not enough chairs during the day! Everyone is saving chairs and even though we paid to bring the privilege area, we never once sat there during the day. Beach bar service is not easy to find, or nonexistent when you are sitting so far away from the bars. The entertainment was hard to figure out what and where it was at. We missed the fire show entirely and we had asked 2 different workers what the entertainment was and they didn’t know. This is our 3rd trip to this resort, will be back.😎

This review is sooo long overdue however.... Last February we stayed at Dreams Cozumel Cape Resort & Spa , and the experience was so memorable that I still feel compelled to share my thoughts. From the moment we arrived, the resort's breathtaking views, impeccable service, and relaxing atmosphere made our trip unforgettable. A special shoutout to Oswaldo, Carlos, and Armando who worked in the main dining area—(after a year, i still remembered them) three staff members who truly went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. They were incredibly attentive , professional and always had a warm smile. We traveled with our 1 year old & they attended to all our requests in regards to his needs. Their hospitality made all the difference. The food, drinks, and amenities at Dreams Cozumel were all great, but it was the staff’s dedication that set this resort apart. In a week we are traveling to Mexico again & the only reason that we are not staying here is because we want to see more of the country! Truly a great resort!

Beach was nice but a lot of rocks.I have swim up room but was there 2 times because water was freezing, also in the swimming pool. Food in restaurants was great but breakfast buffet and buffet was terrible. Staff was nice. I like amenities with Haydi like aerobic in pool and volleyball on the beach.

We love this resort. We have stayed at Secrets and Dreams at this location. We love how quaint and close restaurants, pools, and activities are soooo close to the beach!! A beautiful view no matter where you are in these properties!

My room wasn't cleaned our 1st day. Glass in the bathroom was dirty from day one. Not much intertainment during the day. Beds were comfortable. Food was ok. Glad we could go to Secrets and Sunscape.

Their customer service is amazing hands-down !! Miguel was one of our favorites with Juan by the pool side !! Coochie Coochie drinks for days hahah Raul made things right for us after knowing for 2 days we didn’t get our complementary bottles in our room. You the man & need to put him at front desk :) Angel was the best for breakfast time. Make sure you go see them at your stay and tip them all well!!! Well deserved for sure & because of them we will be back for service wise . The only thing I can say was disappointed about the resort is that the French restaurant was always closed three days in a row on the days that we call primetime “weekends” food around the restaurants could use more seasonings and real steak .Could use more shows / entertainment at night time as well .The weather was beautiful and scenery around the resort. Felt safe at all times and that’s excellent as they love to say 😉Thank you for our stay & till next time !!

We have stayed at the Dreams twice and highly recommend it the food is superior to most all other all inclusive resorts and the views and beach area are amazing. Highly recommend the suite rooms with a water view. The Clearwater is fantastic for viewing fish along with a morning swim to get your exercise in before eating and drinking the day away with beautiful views of the crystal blue Caribbean water.
