The dining options are very limited and menus and buffets rotated every other day so there wasn’t much variety there. The resort is now half time shares which took away one restaurant and pool from the property. Rooms were not very clean as there was a crusty residue on the tray next to the sink. Toilet by pool was broken for days without repair. Staff was amazing however but we could have done without the time share pitch at the beginning of our stay. The property has declined since we were there two years ago, not likely to stay there again.

This was an entry level property meaning this is 2 star at best. The staff was nice. But minimal food options, extremely watered down alcohol and very average. We won’t be going back.

We had to upgrade. out of 3 room changes. I only found one that everything worked. This was my third time there. I won’t be going back. I was not satisfied.

The staff is unfriendly and seem to dislike Americans. The rooms are not like the the pictures. Our room had black mold growing around the door. The whole area smelled like a septic tank. My wife and I were disgusted with the shower and decided that showering was not an option. We then went to the resort next door which is Dreams Cozumel and thought it would be a better fit for us as the resort is only 4 months old. We found the room to be in better condition. We paid the additional 1300 dollars to upgrade to a beach front room. The room was beautiful with a great view of the ocean. We went to eat dinner that evening at the asian restaurant and the service was absolutely horrible. The staff was standing around frustrated because of a wedding taking place that blocked the entrance to the restaurant. We had to find a side entrance to this restaurant and it was not easy. We ordered our food and then all the staff left to help with the wedding patrons. We sat for 30 mins and waited. No one ever came back to help us so we left. To our surprise the next day the shower did not work and had just a trickle of water coming out. They sent someone to fix it and they said the shower head was clogged, with what we asked? They said "debris". When we returned to our room there was what looked like used toilet paper and feces all over the shower and bathroom floor. We left the resort with two days refund for our upgraded room. We Left and stayed at the Melina. Dreams/Sunscape 0 stars!

I thought the staff were great, rooms were clean, everything worked, especially the AC. Being able to use the paddle boards and sailboats for free, was a nice bonus. The food.... what can I say, it's Mexico. Very disappointed with the upscale Bordeaux restaurant, bad service, food was mediocre at best. That needs a lot of improvement to keep up with the Dreams side of the resort.

Was not told by Travelocity, that half of this property is under major construction! Turning half into a Dreams. Which means you only have 2 Restaurants, and a snack shack. No fine dining any more. Only one pool , that is not very safe for elderly to get in. They removed all the metal stairs access to their only pool. Walking down slant into pool is extremely slippery, ( I fell). There are no handrails that you can hold onto to walk all the way in pool. Hand rail just at entrance, does not go down the ramp far enough. Just not the same resort any more. Best part is the beach!
