"The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. We were a party of 6, in 3 different rooms, and it was the first time for each of us at the resort. We found the premises beautiful and inviting. Some of us had room problems (faulty lighting, odor, problems with hot water) but these were either remedied or room changes were permitted. We ate in most of the restuarants. Most were good to excellent, with one meal exception being poor. There was some confusion over wether or not reservations were needed. Most people said that you can't make reservations, but many of the hosts at the door would ask us if we had one, but they couldn't tell us how to make one. It seems that there may be a Tier level of guests who have more access. There is a sales pitch for joining their travel club. One of our group did buy it, which seemed to help with us getting into some places. The concierge and excursion desks were extremely helpful in helping us plan activities and transortation. Shout outs to the excellent staff, Eduardo (at poolside), Ricky "Ricardo" who was one of the most entertaining and energetic people I have ever met. You should definitely attend his Karaoke nights, and attend his Tequila tasting. He is a superstar that deserves his own show. Also terrific was Guillermo in the Aqua Club. Overall it was a great experience that I would recommend."
