"5 Stars – One of the Best Experiences I’ve Ever Had! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My stay at Hyatt Zilara was hands down one of the best experiences I’ve ever had! Everything about the resort was incredible, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better vacation. It was an unforgettable experience, and I would absolutely recommend this resort to anyone looking for an amazing getaway! The only advice I would give future guests is to be very careful when booking excursions or activities. Make sure you ask detailed questions about what you’re signing up for, because not everyone booking these activities fully explains what they involve. For example, we simply wanted to visit and explore some caves. What we weren’t told was that we were actually signing up for a five-hour excursion involving biking, hiking, climbing, and finally swimming in a cave! It was definitely not what we expected or what we had originally wanted to do. A little more transparency about the activities would have made a huge difference. That being said, I don’t want that experience to take away from how amazing our stay at Hyatt Zilara was. The resort itself exceeded my expectations, and I would happily return in a heartbeat! Overall, an incredible vacation and a beautiful experience. Just make sure you know exactly what you’re booking when it comes to excursions!"

"I wish the dining rooms are air conditioned. It gets very hot and uncomfortable especially during lunch time at buffet places. Staff are fri but beware of sales pitches everywhere. Love the Sunset grill, their steak is delicious and love the open outdoor seating. I wish the hotel provided more activities for guests."

"This is a great place for a family vacation. This venue has large grand spaces, great pool access and the food was amazing, especially the Italian cuisine and lunch options. It is well located from the airport. I would have liked a larger beach but the best part is that it is walking distance to the ferry where you can take it to Isla Mujeres and enjoy clear crystal beaches and then head back to the hotel. Super convenient."

"Reasons for 4 stars. Preferred guest-had to request daily that my mini bar be restocked with water. Went to Portofino and had horrible service-waiter forgot my drink. Never offered additional drinks. Left dirty plates on table and never offered dessert. On positive note-Issac poolside waitstaff was amazing. The bartenders were also great. Would stay here again but expect better service ."
