We enjoyed our stay at Royal Cancun so much! It is a special place with such nice people working there. I traveled with my wife and three sons who are ages 13,11 and 18 months. I would highly recommend the Royal Cancun for traveling families. Amongst all the high-rise touristy hotels, this place is a gem tucked into a beautiful property. Multiple buildings with smaller, more pleasing architecture that feel very homey. The staff there keeps this place looking amazing. The outdoor workers use all handheld tools and take such pride in their work. It has a zen feel to it with beautiful gardens and flowers. The buildings look amazing with striking red roofs and everything looks freshly painted. The gals cleaning the rooms go over and above. When they come in and clean it is for a long time and everything is spotless. There is a strong sense of pride in the workers who keep this wonderful place up. Due to the fact that we had a baby with, we didn't do the fancier restaurants but we didn't feel like we missed out at all. The open air (La Palapa) restaurant is wonderful. Unbelievable buffet breakfast that is really good. We usually ate so much at breakfast that we skipped lunch. Fresh fruit, wonderful scrambled eggs, beans and items from the griddle which were all fantastic. Dinners there usually have a theme (Mexican, Italian, Prime Rib night etc). I've run out of typing room but all so good! Tennis courts! Anyone who has negative comments is just whining!

Very happy with our stay. One more on-site food option would have been wonderful, and/or a late-night place to hang out. The music over the speakers could have been a little more upbeat, there were a lot of slow love songs. Everything else was fantastic!

This was an amazing place to stay with a 18-month-old baby. We did the all inclusive package, the staff were amazing, the food was pretty solid, and the access to the beach and the pools was phenomenal. Lovely resort.

Great all inclusive hotel. Food was delicious even though it was quite far to go to some of the restaurants that was a package of the all inclusive. Overall, would definitely could back.
