The staff was friendly exception of the front desk not so friendly. The room had so many issues even getting into the room . The room was never cleaned properly except one day .. I definitely would not recommend or stay ar this place again

We arrived late Sunday, around 6:00 pm. We were given room #318, we immediately noticed the bed, the linen on the lower mattress was ripped. The room was very poorly maintained, the chalking in the sink & bathtub was very poorly done. We went back to front desk, told them the condition of the room. The man at the front desk, gave us a 2nd room in the 4 floor. The room was worse. We went back to the front desk showed him pictures of the room. He then suggested for us to go to dinner and to return to see him after. After dinner, we went back to see him. He gave us a room in the 6th floor. The room was pleasant, and well maintained. However on the 3rd day, the glass door to the balcony fell off the top hinge. We called front desk and they sent someone to repair it. The door seem to be working properly for the next 2 days. On Saturday the door fell off the top hinge again. The repairman said, he had to replaced the hinge, because it was damaged.On the good side, the service staff were very nice and attentive. The food was great. We also meet Teodoro Yam, Jose Luis from Gaucho Grill Restaurant, They are excellent at their job. We had a fantastic dinner in the cellar.

The staff was extremely friendly and made the whole experience amazing. The actual hotel was really nice and clean. A lot of hard working staff. The only downfall we thought of was the sun doesn’t reach the beach/pool untill 1230-1, so the mornings are shaded and a little cooler.

Don’t go! The management is awful. We reserved a table ($80.00) at their Mexico celebration. It was to include a front row table on the beach, entertainment, dinner, and a bottle of wine. As soon as we sat for dinner, the wind picked up and it started pouring. All the food was ruined before we were served, our bottle of wine blew over and spilled before we had any of it. The table settings blew off the table. The entertainment was moved to an inside bar and everyone had to move to one of the inside restaurants. The entertainment manager found us in the restaurant and brought us a partial bottle of wine. It wasn’t from our table, because we saw our bottle blow off the table and spill. However, because Everyone moved inside it took us three hours to be seated and served. By then the entertainment was over. So we did not get the meal, special seating, or entertainment that we paid for. And our wine was spilled on the beach. I assumed they would refund my $80.00. They refused. I took it up with management and they insisted I pay $50.00 because of the wine. My son, had a very small scratch and got a drop of blood on the sheet. They charged him $30.00 for the sheet. If they had told him, he could have easily washed it off with a bit of cold water. Once again, we had rented 3 rooms for a week (well over $7000.00) This was my 4th time at this resort, and we had plans to return next year with and bring our children and grandchildren. We will not be back.

Food was consistently cold, only 2 elevators for whole resort had to wait forever for it because maids also used it. Constant pressure to buy time share. While on the beach constant harassment to buy goods from venders. Very loud at night with music until all hours. Upside was the entertainment crew were very nice and cool.

It was Very nice.. however, pictures from Travelocity are not even close to what I thought I paid for.. I thought I got a family junior suite but it was just simply a regular room with 2 small beds.. the staff at dreams resort blamed it on Travelocity since it was third party.

Beautiful beach area and the small pool was very nice. There is no air conditioning in the hotel except in the rooms, so the whole time you are sweating from the humidity without relief. The rooms could use upgrades. Mini bar was NEVER stocked during our whole stay. Tried to order room service--no menu--so I just ordered what I wanted, you can't expect much when you have no idea of what to order. Drinks are WAY watered down and they only serve one brand of beer. Most of the restaurants were closed. If you do not buy your trip excursions at the hotel--then you might as well forget any help with travel or them answering questions regarding your expenditure. Glad to be home--no need to return to Cancun ever again.
