There was no wow factor as we pulled up to the resort as it was under construction. The check in process was fine. I didn’t realize it when I booked it that for access to all the restaurants you need to pay extra per person per day. The worker finally went down to $150, making it sound like it was for all 5 nights. Just before he went to scan our card he said per day. After already paying enough per person for the stay we decided not to pay the extra daily fee. Booking reservations for dinner up front was very time consuming and one of the reservations didn’t go thru. The rooms were nice and we were able to keep them cool. There was one full day our rooms were never cleaned even though we did have the green housekeeping light on all day. We finally just called for towels. There weren’t always carts available and you’d have to wait quite a while to get one. The buffets were both good. Lots to choose from with the option of fresh foods being made like fish, pasta, and omelets. Some staff were unfriendly but most were pleasant. They did not understand enough English though. The beach was clean and there were always enough chairs to sit as well as by the pools. Make sure you download their app, it’s helpful with the activities. This is our least favorite resort we’ve been to and wouldn’t go back. But for the 5 nights we were there we did enjoy ourselves enough. There isn’t a lot to do for teenagers. We prefer fun activities for them throughout the day and night.
