There was no wow factor as we pulled up to the resort as it was under construction. The check in process was fine. I didn’t realize it when I booked it that for access to all the restaurants you need to pay extra per person per day. The worker finally went down to $150, making it sound like it was for all 5 nights. Just before he went to scan our card he said per day. After already paying enough per person for the stay we decided not to pay the extra daily fee. Booking reservations for dinner up front was very time consuming and one of the reservations didn’t go thru. The rooms were nice and we were able to keep them cool. There was one full day our rooms were never cleaned even though we did have the green housekeeping light on all day. We finally just called for towels. There weren’t always carts available and you’d have to wait quite a while to get one. The buffets were both good. Lots to choose from with the option of fresh foods being made like fish, pasta, and omelets. Some staff were unfriendly but most were pleasant. They did not understand enough English though. The beach was clean and there were always enough chairs to sit as well as by the pools. Make sure you download their app, it’s helpful with the activities. This is our least favorite resort we’ve been to and wouldn’t go back. But for the 5 nights we were there we did enjoy ourselves enough. There isn’t a lot to do for teenagers. We prefer fun activities for them throughout the day and night.

Highly recommend this resort for getaways. Clean property, attentive service, great beach. Don’t be scared by the size of the resort. It is not troubling at all to get to where you need to go whether walking or using their cart/ferry services.

As someone who travels very often and has visited plenty all inclusive properties , me and my family had the best service and experience at the grand palladium. the food , location , and service was all great . However our best interactions was with Paul the guest service manager. Paul was very professional and respectful and was able to accommodate my parents to make them happy . He would go out of his way to make our experience and stay the best. I think Paul is a great addition to grand palladium and would love to see him grow with the company

Grand Palladium is definitely NOT one of the top tier Cancun resorts. I have been to Cancun for 5 times including this week and Grand Palladium is barely average. I am disappointed for paying premium but receiving only so so quality experience. Room is big, sofa bed is big, good. But all other things in room is far from good. Shower room glass is dirty, not cleaned and disprdered, when I try to close the door, it snaps onto the toilet door and makes big noisy. Toilet was not cleaned, tissues were still on the ground when we checked in. As a relative new hotel, the facility looks like 20 years old, shabby, lack of maintenance. Hair dryer in my mom’s room was completely broken, so not usable at all. Floor was made from stone/tile and is very slippery. My kids fell down twice when walking in the wet showerroom floor. So if you have kids and senior, stay away from this hotel. Bed was made but sheet was dirty and I can still see something like blood or dirty on edge of sheet, Poor. Phone in the room but no explanation so if you want to call lobby or room service, you need to ask for their number first. Dining is so so. Literally so so. Dinner reservations needs to be placed early but funny thing is that when we place order they have very limited time slots available but when we come to the restaurant l, it is almost empty. If you have the capacity why don't you let your customer reserve? But staff was friendly. Buffet is so so, I am ok with that.

Overall, the resort is nice. Tje restaurant selections were done but the food was subpar. Nothing spectacular. My main issue was the room. When I arrived, the sink and bathtub were both dirty. My toilet would constantly run after flushing it. The sinks drained extremely slow so it was always full of water. The table out on my balcony was never cleaned . I always felt a film on it. The balcony chairs were never repositioned like they should be once your room is cleaned. This is exactly how I know nobody went outside to clean or tidy up. What I was disgusted by the most was the bedframe. At the bottom edge of the bedframe, it was most likely a previous guest, clipped their disgusting toenails and left All of the clippings there. I could not believe how this resort does NOT clean their rooms well, AT ALL. I left those clippings there my entire stay to see if housekeeping would re.oce them. Those clippings stayed there MY ENTIRE STAY. I have never been so disgusted in my life. This truly goes to show that the people that clean our rooms really do not do a thorough job, AT ALL. This resort is beautiful and kid friendly but I can honestly say that I will never be back.

Lovely Resort

We had an absolutely amazing stay at the Grand Palladium All-Inclusive Resort in Mexico! From start to finish, everything was incredible—the beautiful resort, the fantastic pools, the delicious food and drinks, and the engaging evening entertainment. A special shoutout to the team at the Kids Club for making this trip so memorable for our family! Our kids had an absolute blast with all the fun activities, including crafts, games, puppet shows, cooking classes, pool games, and so much more. The team members—Ivonne, Jessi, Nicol, Luz, Reyna, and Sara—were so kind, attentive, and creative. It was such a relief knowing our kids were in great hands while we had some time to relax. Thank you, Grand Palladium, for such a wonderful experience. We’ll definitely be back!

I stayed here for a week with my 1.5 year old and 3 year old. We stayed in the JR pool side suite. The room was average, not the cleanest. We had 1 queen size bed and the pull out sofa bed. The first night we stayed, we had no sheets. After multiple (25 attempts) of going to the lobby to get sheets they did not arrive until the second night. The food was good, I really enjoyed the Thai restaurant the best. My children and I did not get sick. My husband did get sick. Beach is nice, sand is nice and little seaweed. When we there, someone did get shot on the beach. 2 men with guns dressed as security came up and shot a man. This was just before new years. You can look at the videos on TikTok.The pools and splash pad are great. The nightlife and shows were fantastic.Transportion was booked through the hotel. Getting picked up for the airport was no problem. Returning to the airport was a 1.5 hr (stressful) delay. The resort is big, they have golf carts (like taking a bus with bus stations all over). Bad for strollers. Please note they use the walkway, so when walking with your kids or stroller you have to consistently stop and move to the side to let them pass. BABIES AND MILK**you can not get free milk anywhere after the buffet and coffee shop close. you are forced to order it via room service and there is a 30$ USD charge. Stock up on your milk. I'm happy I went but I wouldn't go back. My kids had alot of fun.

First and foremost, I visited this resort a few years ago. The food, the drinks, the customer service was top notch. We now recommended the resort to 15 of our friends. Our experience was one that I want to delete from my memory forever. They put us in building 15 1st floor has to be infested with roaches. Exposed pipe in the rooms Dirty towels Multiple occasions where we ask for room cleaning and didn’t get it Asked for towels and they don’t bring it for hours Employees at the sports bar telling us we will bring food out if you give me and my chef money Employees at the poolside telling us make my Christmas and we will take care of you Employee at beach running after us for a tip while we gave his partner $20 as soon as we got to beach and he came back with a new employee when he brought us one tray of drinks and said my friend is going to take care of you. Do they think we’re stupid? This is a way to finesse people out of money!! We are embarrassed by our friends to have recommended it. They had the worst trip ever. To top it off, we have $500 missing from a room and instead of putting blame on them immediately , all I asked was police to show up and run fingerprint tests and they said they’re not allowed to go inside. This answered my question. We actually had to call police to the resort to Come file a report. Trip from hell indeed

we were a large group of friends and most of us got food poisoning, the bottled water that was provided in the rooms had a terrible taste and couldn't be drunk. The families with small kids were refused to be given milk in the cartoon, only in the cups which were not sufficient when you had 2 small kids that need milk overnight.

Beautiful resort and very aesthetic. Needs a nightclub and more options for nightlife however. Staff isn’t impressive, there’s a select few that wowed us but overall they seem like they’re not happy to see particular tourists and comes off as racist. They would show favouritism to their own and for the English speaking coloured people, just know you won’t be prioritized.

Had a great experience. Im not a fan of going or being at the beach, but staying here made it enjoyable and relaxing. The all inclusive made it so worth it room amenities, drinks alcoholic/non, food/ restaurants (variety) and very accommodating to best of their abilities, towel stations all over property near pools and beach. Profesional photographers offering at the beach/resort personalized pictures (pictures are $$$ tho). Theres stores for shopping, prices can range ($$-$$$). The are always activities and fun happen everyday/night for adults and kids. Its a very family/adult oriented. I will also exclaim that this experience is very TOURIST oriented, so for my raza or POC visitors/tourists dont be afraid to bring out the flavor or heat to the party... Staff is so HARD working/FRIENDLY if you like please show your appreciation. (TIP or just be RESPECTFUL) Please leave your uppitiness/micro agressions at home or your country. They have everything onsite/ they will find a way to make things happen if you need something incase of emergency (for a $). Sadly, my wife got the flu throughout our stay, to our surprise they have a Dr on site that we visted and consulted/got meds ordered via external pharmacy (for a cost). Her health improved with meds. The property cleanliness and organizatiorivals other top (very minor icks rooms/resort). The property is fairly new a shy 6 years, theres still a bit minor construction and upgrading happing throught, (didnt take magic away).
