Book a hotel near El Mirador, Cozumel

"Muy buen lugar para ir en familia, un personal excelente y amable. 9-10mins de la estación del ferry! Lo unico es que no tiene Wi-fi en las habitaciones y el menú no tiene tantas opciones pero de lo contrario muy bueno."

"Nice white beach and bed canopies on the beach. Nice comfy bed and huge rooms. Fridge full of treats pop and beer. A lot of different restaurants and wonderfully staff."

"We stayed at the Occidental for a short gateway. We had 1 room with 2 double beds, non smoking room and was big enough for the 3 of us to share. Bathroom had shower and a tub and overall the room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were always various, rich of fresh and tasty fruits, fresh veggies and a great selection between meat and fish. We had dinner once at the mexican restaurant and to be honest we were expecting a bit more in term of quantity. From the apetizer to the desser overall the food was good but quantities can be improved. The seafood restaurant, in my opinion, was the best. Location and food are really worth it but, if you're planning a romantic dinner or celebrating a special occasion this is the perfect spot, make your reservation on time and enjoy it. The pool area was wonderful even though I prefered enjoying the beach and the wonderful ocean. You can snorkeling from here and it is nice but if you like to see the reef you can book an excursion from the hotel. Cozumel and the Occidental was a discovery, really nice location, not to crowded and noisy, this is what I'm usually looking for. "

"Although everything was a long walk, there was plenty to do. Dinning options were some what limited. Also, was not expecting to have to dress casual to eat dinner. Overall had a good time. Would be best if there was an option to eat closer to our room or pool when buffet is closed. "
