"We had a mountain view, which was really a view of the street and neighborhoods on the back side of the resort, we asked for an upgrade but were unable to make a switch. We found the restaurant explanations misleading and the days and times of operation were not consistent with the signage. The food was okay, and had the same options over and over. We were also there during the shut down and received no communication from the resort and when we asked questions received no information. The resort was clean and the staff were friendly. "

"Ocean was not visible from our balcony, it looked into the staff parking lot and alley. The hotel is family friendly and attached to the adults only "crown paradise golden club". Very few staff speak english which was tough at times but google translate helped. The highlight of the property was the kids pool and splash/water park on location though it was in need of some minor updates. The room was clean but no "special touches" done to the room. Previous stays in other resorts we had little flowers or towel art done on our beds. The buffett was just "okay" and somewhat limited."

"We had to upgrade to a balcony with Ocean view and it was gorgeous. Food at this property is inadequate. Not worth the extra $100 US per day. Much better to eat at the local places down the street or Romantic zone. "
