Older building, rooms, and specifically the bathroom and shower area could benefit from an upgrade. The room smelled damp and humid. Staff switched our room to one that did not smell humid. The staff was amazing and friendly. Food was ok many needed better flavor as some were flavorless. Our friend ordered an octopus and it was hard & chewy like a gummy bear.

It’s old. So. “Traditional”. The “timeshare” type presentation is a thing. So decide for yourself. Communication isn’t the best. We asked for late check out a few times and then was told no and then when we went to check out at noon they said “ you can stay in one room (we had two) until one”. Let’s all be on the same page. It’s frustrating.

First room was on 3 rd floor, with no wifi. Second room had the worst mold smell ever, plus shower drain was clogged and flooded the room, the safe was broken and the AC cut out They charged me an extra $450. USD to move to another room 3rd room was nicer. Food was recycled , if we had it one night we ate it incorporated into other dishes for a couple days after. The beach was awful, a small strip down an ally where you are accosted by at least 30 different venders, the water was so rough there I tried to swim, got knocked down and couldn’t get back up without two strangers help The pool was ok first thing in the morning but by noon it was a human cess pool, crap that looked like vomit floating on the surface and when we swam clumps of human hair would get caught up in our fingers, just GROSS! I’m typing on my iPad but I am going to complain to Expedia.ca and I have pics on my phone to back it up. Also False advertising, was told there’s a games room with pool table etc. NOT, also a weight/ exercise room …does not exist, it’s a lie, I am so disappointed, this was a very important trip and it was ruined by a shoddy outdated dilapidated place. The final straw was the last day, I had a put in a request the night before for a porter to help with our bags…we waited and waited , finally struggled with them ourselves ( two little old ladies) up and down stairs etc…. Terrible service, would Never recommend to anyone I liked.

The Room was clean but very noisy until 11 pm WiFi is weak in the rooms. They refilled the liquor bottles and I suspect water added. They reuse the plastic drink cups and I saw the staff giving the a quick rinse. Bring your own cup. Food was okay. Overall for the price it wasn’t bad. Staff was excellent

Everyone was so nice there, the garden is beautiful, I loved this place! Lots of Mexican families staying there so the stuff speaks mostly Spanish, be prepared to use lots of google translator if your requests are complex. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for something affordable and want to experience an authentic Mexican hacienda.

The staff are awesome! Very helpful. I had just had surgery and couldn't shower so they moved us to a room with a tub. The AC wasn't working properly in the first room but worked wein the second room. All staff were friendly, courteous, and helping.

Room air conditioning was very poor. They did offer another room which had a cockroach bug in it! Gross. Food was disappointing. Not much variety. Drinks all tasted weird. Only beer and juice was normal. We stayed 2 days and that was more than enough. The property is beautiful though. Well manicured and quaint.
