"Location is the very best. Great place to explore"
Playa Los Arcos is a mixed bag, but ultimately, I think a very good place to stay. The location could not be beat. It is right in the middle of all the great restaurants and shopping, and also has beachfront access. That's amazing. The hotel grounds are beautiful - the lobby, the pool area, restaurants, beach area are all fantastic. The rooms themselves, at least the two I saw, were a little rundown. It was hard to believe based on how the common areas of the hotel looked. Our first room was pretty bad, it was dark, smelled like mildew and had no opening window or balcony access, so it felt like a dungeon. The nice thing was, when I asked for a new room the next day, (which I have never done in my life - I'm not a complainer, but we were going to there five days and the mildew smell was a killer), there was no argument. The staff didn't ask question or give me a hard time, they just moved me to a new room. Our next room was a kitchenette suite, much bigger and smelled better. It was still just sort of generally rundown and dated, but way more comfortable and the outside areas are so nice. And really, I didn't stay in downtown Puerto Vallarta to hang out in my room. Room was very clean and I could tell it got mopped every day. Also, there is an iguana family that lives on the roof of the lobby - on a hot day you see them sunning themselves. It's hilarious.

"Can't wait to go back!"
Just returned from a 5 night 4 day stay in Puerto Vallarta at Villa Premiere and we can't wait to return! Already miss the staff, food, beach and fresh pineapple juice! The rooms were very clean, comfortable and spacious (King Suite). The housekeeping staff was amazing - very pleasant always and very helpful. Whatever we needed, they got for us. The front desk, butler and concierge staff were also great - again whatever we needed, they got for us and did so with a smile. The beach restaurant was delicious, relaxing and again the staff was wonderful and they spoiled us for sure! The pool was clean, the beach area was always clean and the staff made sure we always had a drink or food when we wanted it. We were spoiled by Villa Premiere, will go back again and recommend it highly!

"Perfect Location"
First night was not very convenient as they oversold and gave me a completely different room then paid for. I will say they were very apologetic and the manager took care of me and my wife adequately for the inconvenience we hado endured. After that first night everything was perfect. Food was better than what I expected. Plenty of activities within close proximity to hotel. Overall if I had to pick a hotel in Puerta Vallarta I would choose Garza Blanca again.

"Great hotel and staff"
My family and I stayed at Grand Velas for 5 nights in early June. The hotel and staff were amazing. My daughter and I enjoyed the pool (absolutely beautiful). Jose Ramos was our pool side server and he was wonderful. Very friendly, professional and a genuine person. He made our stay so pleasant and we made sure we would always find lounge chairs in his section to receive such a great service. Thank you Jose for making our experience so great!

"Nice hotel, but no night activities."
We stayed for 7 nights. The first night was great just watching the sunset. After a couple nights, we got bored. There isn't anything to do at night on the resort. After the pools close, it's a ghost town. No activities where as other resorts have them to keep the guests happy. We went all inclusive and probably spent another $1000 usd. Outside the resort on activities, restaurants. The food was okay, but the same thing every day. The employees were excellent and willing to help you at all times. They treat you like royalty. You ask, and they say "of course". We enjoyed our trip, but we would try a different resort next time with more to offer. I gave it 4 stars, but probably only 3.7 stars.

"My family and myself had a great vacation at this hotel"
I visited this hotel last summer and I recommended this place to my other friend. We came this summer with two families. I wish the hotel provide two things: 1) Free shuttle transportation to/form Airport 2) Free Wiki Internet access. The $12 wiki is sorta expensive. Otherwise everything was perfect.

"Wonderful Boutique Hotel!"
My wife and I have stayed at the Los Arcos Suites, but this was the first time we stayed in its sister hotel, Casa Susana. It was one of the most restful and comfortable vacations we have had in more than 50 years of travelling. The room was kept spotless by the efficient maids, who even washed the dishes for our kitchenette. Bonifacio, the extremely gracious and hospitable supervisor of both the Suites and Casa Susana, was always available for information, and made sure that the guests were happy.

"Feel like an honored guest "
First off, this was our first time staying at an all-inclusive resort. Villa del Palmar was also not our originally booked hotel through Travelocity. The folks at Travelocity worked for over an hour to get us into a hotel at the last minute. We were nervous that Villa del Palmar had vacancies when no one else did. Did that mean it's not a good hotel? Yikes! Cut to check in. Patti is an absolute ocean of calm at midnight. She explained things, gave us time to look over everything and was so incredibly friendly. Our room was a one-bedroom suite and it was lovely. A view of the Pacific, comfortable bed, pillows, and water from the kitchen faucet that you can drink...it's purified at the hotel. Every single staff person was as friendly as Patti, and she set the bar high. Special hats off to Ricardo at the breakfast service and Joaquin at the El Patron restaurant! Great service and senses of humor. When I woke up at 7 the next morning, the first thing I see (and it didn't wake me up) was a crew of people cleaning the sidewalks, scrubbing the bases of the umbrellas and picking up the very few pieces of trash that were on the grass. The outside is immaculate! First impressions stuck. The place is wonderful. Food is great. staff are great. Price seemed reasonable for all we got. location is super.

Puerto Vallarta All Inclusive Hotel Guide

Live salsa music fills the streets as you stroll through a seaside market with more bounce in your step and rhythm in your hips than usual. Hundreds of local merchants, entertainers, and artisans have gathered here, and they’ve got everything you’re looking for, wise wanderer. A woman in a red sundress hums along with the tune and offers you a look at her wares: colorful men’s shirts known as guayaberas worn in this coastal enclave. As you continue past alleys overflowing with beauty, the air around you blossoms with scents from dozens of different food merchants. You sample the roasted pescado embarazado on a stick, and with one bite you realize it’s the best fish you’ve ever tasted. This is the escape you needed, old friend. This is Puerto Vallarta.

On the shores of Mexico’s Bahia de Banderas, Puerto Vallarta offers an unbeatable getaway for lovers of culture, cuisine, and aquatic adventures. And for those just looking to relax, it’s also home to some of the best beaches in the world. Become one with the water while snorkeling, scuba diving, and stand-up paddle boarding, and enjoy everything else this area has to offer by booking a room at an all-inclusive hotel in Puerto Vallarta like the Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit All Inclusive. In the meantime, here are some things to keep in mind when preparing for your dream vacation in Mexico:

What are the best beaches in Puerto Vallarta?

At the top of many guests lists for beaches to visit is Playa Garza Blanca. Adjacent to the Garza Blanca Preserve Resort & Spa, one of the best all-inclusive hotels in Puerto Vallarta, this playa is among the few white-sand beaches in the region. This gives the water a luminous quality, which, in conjunction with the Los Arcos islands in the distance, completes the picture of paradise.

And if you’d prefer to spend as much time in the water as possible, Playa Camarones is the place you’re looking for. Centrally located in PV’s hospitality district, this area is the perfect setting for parasailing or embarking on a famed Banana Boat adventure with fellow travelers. Despite its proximity to the hotels and commercial area, this beach is surprisingly serene, and serves as an ideal setting for idly unwinding while watching the waves caress the coast.

Wondering where to eat in Puerto Vallarta?

Café des Artistes is widely considered the finest dining experience in town. Menu items here fuse flavors from France with traditional Mexican fare. And since meals are served in a romantic setting reminiscent of a castle, it’s also the perfect place for you to knock the socks off your sweetheart. Another outstanding option is Layla’s Restaurante, just north of the Ordaz waterfront. The second-story terrace here offers unparalleled views of the surrounding scene, and the perfectly plated palate-pleasers will elevate you to a level of serenity.

If you’re ready to experience all the joy and wonder this exotic getaway has to offer, let Travelocity help you find the best Puerto Vallarta all-inclusive hotels at a price that won’t break your budget. Start your search today, and you’ll be sipping margaritas on the coast of Mexico before you know it. ¡Adios!
