Staff was great service was awesome. Some of the staff that stood out were Seferino the waiter in the lobby. Blanca the events person and Donovan the waiter in the steakhouse. They were great and all went well on our vacation. We appreciate all of our service on our stay. We will be back.

The room was clean, quiet & the ocean view made our stay extra special. The only downside was the mattress; it was very uncomfortable. The staff were amazing across the resort, from service staff to restaurant servers. My husband and I are vegan, and there were usually some options (even at the Vela buffet). One note for vegans; all breads at the buffet contained milk. We asked for dairy-free bread & they kindly baked some for us every morning. Big shout-out to the team at Vela; chef Marcos Nazario, Norma, Esmeralda, Rosario, Pedro, and everyone else who made sure we were well taken care of. We also tried the Italian, Mexican & Asian restaurants & all had vegan options (the Mexican & Asian even had vegan menus). One disappointment was that we’d read in earlier reviews that there was a vegan food truck by the pools, but it wasn’t there during our trip. A suggestion for the buffet would be listing full ingredients under each label; we often had to guess what items contained. The beach was amazing and we spent most of our time there. The beach staff were excellent, regularly taking drink orders and setting up umbrellas as the sun came out. There are two pools, including an adults-only pool, but they didn’t feel very clean to us, and the music was often very loud, so we didn’t spend much time there. Overall, I’d rank the resort a 4-4.5, but because we had a great trip, I gave it a 5.

Everything was beyond my expectations. The only issue was it’s not as close to everything as Expedia says it is. Because of traffic it’s an hour to the airport not 15 minutes no matter the time of day, even supposedly non rush hours.

We had a lovely time at the hotel. Our room had a magnificent view and it was very spacious. Staff kept the room spotless and well stocked. We recently stayed at the Hilton Vallarta Riviera and had a mixed experience overall. The hotel itself feels a bit old and is in need of several updates. Every time we showered, a lot of water leaked out because the shower door was not properly leveled. The bathroom also needs better lighting, and the sink was clogged, causing the water to drain very slowly. In terms of cleanliness, everything was excellent — truly 10/10. Most of the staff members were very kind and friendly, which we really appreciated. As for the food, I would rate it a 6/10. Our favorite restaurant was Cocomar, which stood out compared to the others. Unfortunately, room service was a disappointment. We made a reservation the night before because we had an early morning excursion, but the breakfast arrived one hour late, cold, and lacking flavor. The chilaquiles, in particular, were the least flavorful meal we had during our stay. The view from the hotel was absolutely beautiful and was definitely our favorite part of the experience. However, despite the great views and friendly staff, we are not sure if we would return Also, At check-in, the staff member greeted us and spoke to us in English. I replied in Spanish, even though I do speak English, but the conversation continued in English despite my responses being in Spanish. I had to ask three times, very clearly, for them to please speak to me in Spanish before they finally did. This made the check-in experience a bit uncomfortable.

The hotel was very clean and we had a great time and the food was delicious.The staff was amazing and a special thank you to Martin at Cocomar for making sure our group was taken care of even when he wasnt our waiter. Pedro on the beach was quick with the drinks and made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. Cefarino at the lobby bar was hilarious and kept us entertained. Efran at the pool bar was very helpful and Pedro the manager checked in daily with us to make sure we were well taken care of. We will definitely be back. ❤️

Room was dirty when we first went in. Food was okay at the restaurants but the buffet was the same everyday with no variety. Breakfast stopped by 12pm but they would not refill items at 11am. They didn’t have chips and guac or horchata which is super odd… Fresh juice only at breakfast otherwise you cannot get Checked out and was waiting for a taxi. Asked for a virgin drink but lobby bar wouldn’t serve us which is very uncommon… Staff were not the kindest. Mixed bag. Rooftop jacuzzi wasn’t working either. Prefer Hyatt Ziva

The hotel staff is outstanding and take great care of the guests in the multiple restaurants or serving food and drinks at the pool. The same goes for the entertainment and sports personnel. The all inclusive food and drinks were good quality and our stay was so relaxing. The building doesn't feel new anymore but is kept clean. The air conditioning struggled to keep up with the humidity and the room felt a bit damp the entire time (other guests felt that way, too). Otherwise the room was nice and everything was in working order. Nice beach and pools as well. Not part of the hotel but worth mentioning: If you can, arrange for transportation alternatives (like Uber).There is no hotel shuttle available and hailing a taxi is a third world experience. Dozens of desperate people descend on the new arrivals as soon as they come out of the airport and want to sell you tours and charge exorbitant fees for taxi rides ( We ended up paying $45 but were quoted up to $105).
