The hotel staff is outstanding and take great care of the guests in the multiple restaurants or serving food and drinks at the pool. The same goes for the entertainment and sports personnel. The all inclusive food and drinks were good quality and our stay was so relaxing.
The building doesn't feel new anymore but is kept clean. The air conditioning struggled to keep up with the humidity and the room felt a bit damp the entire time (other guests felt that way, too). Otherwise the room was nice and everything was in working order.
Nice beach and pools as well.
Not part of the hotel but worth mentioning: If you can, arrange for transportation alternatives (like Uber).There is no hotel shuttle available and hailing a taxi is a third world experience. Dozens of desperate people descend on the new arrivals as soon as they come out of the airport and want to sell you tours and charge exorbitant fees for taxi rides ( We ended up paying $45 but were quoted up to $105).
