Facilities were clean, food was sub par an unimpressive. Pools were to hot at 95 and party pool was closed for two days. Riu white party was advertised but found out that the sister hotel that held the party was closed. We will not be going back to the Riu Palace.

The staff is great and you can actually see it in their faces that they enjoy what they are doing, the food is great, the atmosphere is great, you cannot go wrong with Riu. They did not enforce simple dress codes They let a few people get out of control and ruin the day for people. An out of control group who could not control their alcohol threw up in the pool two days in a row. On the third day, one of them excreted in the pool. Shoving the pool down three days The hotel staff did nothing Let them continue to go to a different pool

This was our first time in Mexico. Traveling with disabilities adds a layer of challenge many aren't aware of. The hotel is spotless and beautiful, with wonderful service and accessibility in all exterior areas (ramps to beach, pool, washrooms, etc.) The size of the property makes it fairly easy to navigate, though I would still recommend a scooter rental for anyone who finds walking distances a challenge. This can be arranged with the hotel service desk. When we arrived the check in desk staff helped us change our room to one close to the elevator, which was a huge help. I would make two constructive suggestions to the hotel. Please install grab bars next to all toilets in each suite. You have no idea how important this is for many folks with mobility issues. Secondly, please make it easier to contact the hotel directly to arrange accessibility needs (such as room proximity to elevators) ahead of arrival. Aside from these refinements, we loved our stay and are looking forward to returning next year. Beautiful, spotless, elegant hotel, wonderful rooms, fantastic staff and great food. Highly recommend.

This property is absolutely beautiful in every way! Great food. Great staff, great entertainment. Pools are sparkling clean. Rooms are spacious,Beds are very comfortable. Fully stocked in room bar with refrigerator. The gardens are pristine and well tended to. This is a Gorgeous adults only hotel! Will not disappoint!

This was a very nice property. Loves the app for our phones. Enjoyed all the fitness options when we were interested. Wonderful service at the pool. Clean beaches. Was not happy about the $500 credit the hotel that just ended up being a bunch of $10-20 coupons to use on services. The gifts store was stocked with lots of items which was handy. Great food choices and our wait was never more than 20 minutes. The entertainment was nothing fancy but fun enough for an evening activity. Loved the 35 dollar massages down the beach. The resort prices were a bit high compared to home.

I liked how the dining options were close together. I like that there was one dining place that was open 24 hours. 95% of the staff were amazing. There was a few that didn’t make us feel welcomed. The different events every night was fun but needs more entertainment like the Michael Jackson impersonation (which was great). With so many people there, having a bigger gym with more options would be great and/or 24 hour access. Overall, the experience was amazing!
