Great family vacation with many activities for all age levels. Only downfalls were the ability to get dinner at the steakhouse was impossible and the lack of room service was not great but bearable. The AC did not seem to work well anywhere. Restaurants and Bars were hot and room didn’t ever get cold. Needs some work on these things for sure, but for not being a palace level resort, I get it.

Beach was gorgeous and the restaurants were delicious. We rented one of the little cabanas on our second day and it was so nice to just sit oceanside in the shade for the day. 10/10 recommend.

Very nice family oriented resort Super clean list of dining options the cleaning service was excellent ! Veronica our cleaning lady did an amazing job. We felt safe and really enjoyed all the activities the hotel had to offer. Definitely will be going back 💕

The Gray Line reps were awesome. The food was mostly quantity over quality. More families with small children. Room AC was minimal at best. Beach very steep.

My daughter and I had a wonderful time at this resort! The staff are all so friendly and they want everyone of all ages to have fun. There are nightly shows - one for kids so parents get a bit of a break, and another show (when we were there was a different one each night - burlesque, Michael Jackson and a cirque show. They also have nightly music and we danced every night! Everyone is so welcoming and there are activities going on day and night at the resort. We did a Zumba class on the beach which was muy divertido! Shout out to all the amazing staff including Cristopher, Jesus and Mimi!!

Rewrite We were very disappointed with Riu’s service and room conditions. When we checked in our room toilet was leaking. The bedding were smell. We called the front desk for service and we waited for more than an hour but no one came to fit the restroom. I had to go to the front desk and requested a room change. Second issue we had was there were supposed to be a $500 hotel credit to use for hotel services such as spa, photography, and kayaking. But when we inwuire they said we cant use all $500 credit. The booking actity is 20% off where we can use as a credit not all $500 as stated. We felt the credit is more of a scam os watch out. Food were okay. The chef or staff burned the food and not many choices. Menu is ln a repeat every day. No switch up. However the steak house food were good. I wouldn’t recommend Riu however of you don't mind the mess and eating the same food every day then this is your hotel.

All Pools were too hot, air conditioners didnt work, Gym opens until 7 am, 13 year old kid cant workout with parents at the gym, there was a coacroach in the room, theres no desks to work with a laptop in the rooms, there is no bussines center in the hotel, there is no room service.
