Staff was very friendly but there was no communication. We ordered room service that took 3 hours. Not having a buffet for lunch made things chaotic. Servers were hard to find and when you did order food, it took Atleast an hour.

Overall the staff and service we received was great. However, the property is old, needs major restoration in buildings, rooms, lobby,spa and gym. The restaurants are open not enclosed so it’s inconvenient when it’s cold and windy.

All was great. Did not like having to sign the bill at every single meal and buffet, even just for bottles of water. All inclusive should not have to worry about signing everytime. Need a coffee bar and water available. Otherwise lovely pool area. Food was okay.

Great location if you're wanting to be by some shopping and the port for boat tours. Easy access to/from airport. Liked that my bracelet was also my room key. Clean. The food was ok. Comfortable bed. No construction noise but found out they're demolishing the building soon to build a new one in its place so possibly issues could be related to lack of investment if they're about to tear it down. Dated rooms and systems. While I did have all inclusive, was forced to sign for everything and it was clear their system was slow (not all the waiters' fault) but I consistently waited 15-30 min for the bill after asking for it. Wait staff was understaffed as it was near impossible to get attention from a waiter. Places by the pool were consistently full so only was able to get chairs at the beach where people selling goods would frequently pass.

I enjoyed that the hotel area is very accessible on foot or via bus and taxi. The pool was excellent as were the bar staff and service staff. Our housekeeping ladies were wonderful. I found that the windy weather really decreased my enjoyment of the restaurant meals. It was cool and windy and there was nowhere to eat without being in the wind unless I went to my room. At the restaurants you must wait and sign a chit for everything ordered as most people staying are not all inclusive. We were denied beverages and snacks in our room even though that is an expectation of all inclusive. We had a butler call our room and ask if there was anything we would like. We gave him a list of snacks, water, beer and an extra blanket, none of these items were delivered. I really don't like the vendors on the beach bothering me every 5 minutes. Our room was above the lobby and I found that it was very noisy in the room. The intrusive music started each morning and we were often woken by staff and patrons speaking loudly and slamming doors. What would I do differently myself for another visit? This is a pretty casual resort. No dress code really. Bring jackets and pants, request a quiet room away from the lobby and pack earplugs.

The all-inclusive resort made a big deal out of us signing for every shred of food and drink we received with an expectation for a tip. It was wearying. The resort put up signs telling people to NOT reserve deck chairs but the senior’s mob ruled the day: reserving most deck chairs first thing in the morning and leaving many others (including my family) without while most chairs remained empty all day.

The overall experience was great. The food was better than I’ve had in Mexico. The hotel room could’ve been better kept for sure. The hotel staff itself was amazing other than trying to extort us into some presentation for a couple hours of extended check out. Oscar our “personal concierge “ did nothing to help us all trip but try to force us into going to their other hotel to sell us stuff and when we needed help he used it as leverage to try and get us there. We will give an honest review of our overall experience, that being said because of them we will never be back.
