Wifi accessibility is nearly inaccessible which meant very little to no internet service. We had to purchase it on a daily, three day or weekly package and either sit in the hallway to get a signal or go sit in the lobby. If you wanted free Wifi, it was available at a Sports Bar located the edge of the property. Many people were always huddled around on this patio making finding a seat sometimes impossible to find. In today's world even on vacation this is a necessity which has become a complimentary service with 4 and 5 star hotels and resorts. Also why is there no ATM in the lobby? It was a hassle to get in a cab start a search not only for a bank but one that has money available for you to make a withdraw. The hospitality people lead you to believe they are there to welcome and introduce you to the hotel but they are actually sales people for timeshares at a sister property. After about ten minutes into the conversation their presentation became a high pressure sales pitch. Upon several occasions during the week I was approached by these hospitality people that started as a pleasant conversation only to change to a sales pitch once again.I felt like I could have been easily victimized and I am sure many more gullible folks are. So if you go, expect their high pressure sales as soon as you arrive and get out of the cab. Otherwise it was perfect! The rooms were clean however, after your your first day expect to buy bottled water and coffee.

Hotel did not honor my king-size bed choice that I clearly chose on Travelocity. All inclusive did not include many of the items I would’ve liked for example ice cream hot chocolate many liquors. A lot of wasted time for timeshare BS. Many hidden fees on excursions. Staff was very unfriendly to the all-inclusive guests. While checking in they try to sell you on an upgrade for additional $40 per night to get the room that I originally chose king size bed. Yet none are available. The first day I checked in the person selling exclusions was not even working so I missed out on a day of fun. When I saw her the next day she was unhelpful. Didn’t explain hidden fees or that I might not even be able to enter a location that I paid for. The safe in the room was broken. The air conditioner didn’t work. The bathroom had a leak in the ceiling. And the towels were scratchy and old.

Mixed feelings about this hotel

Pros: Walking to the beach from your room, returning to the Jacuzzi and later some flavorful seafood dinner.
Cons: Get rid of the salespeople pushing the Flamingo Hotel time-share points.
Location: The Isla shopping center is only a short walk away on the same side of the street.
As with other reviewers we were given 2 beds instead of one king-sized bed, in a room facing the street. For $50/ day additional we could have enjoyed the bed we requested and the pool side of the hotel with its noisy activities at night. The reception was a time-sharing marketing experience. Travelocity, let me understand your business model, we pay to stay in this hotel so that we are at the buying end of time sharing points of the Flamingo Hotel?? We prefer to spend our vacation days without the pushy salespeople haunting us with their free breakfast, free massage, free gifts suggestions. The cleaning personnel were very helpful and we tipped them well to show our appreciation; they are the salt of the earth in this case. There are several restaurants on the premises and we liked them; we even met the master Chef. Overall, we have mixed feelings about this hotel.

Beautiful and friendly! The only thing I didn't appreciate was that I showed up at 3:30 for check in, and check in is at 3 and they said my room wouldn't be ready till 4:30, but that didn't happen because I was persistent.

Over booked

Showed up and the hotel was over booked they made us stay in a different resort that was terrible no one cared been to this place 8 other times but after this terrible experience we will never book thru Travelocity again

They charged us 60% more than others!

We said we didn't care to attend a half-day seminar on why we should buy a time share from them. "Then you don't get this discount card. It's worth 20-60% off, but you haven't earned it." Also we had to move cuz we had no running water on Day #3.
