I struggled writing this review because I truly appreciated some aspects of Los Arcos Suites, but there were also areas that really missed the mark for me. The hotel staff was nice, and the main lobby/pool area was actually more than I expected—beautiful, lively, and a great place to relax. The location and pricing were also excellent, and I wasn’t expecting luxury for what I paid. Where I really struggled was with the cleanliness of the room. The floors and walls felt like they hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned or wiped down in a very long time. The hallway floor outside our door was noticeably cleaner than inside our room. The furniture, walls, and overall space just needed a deep scrubbing, and it made the room feel neglected. On a positive note, I didn’t see any bugs, and the bed was comfortable. Overall, while the location and price are great, the cleanliness is something I can’t overlook. Because of that, I personally wouldn’t recommend this hotel to friends or family unless they make improvements to the rooms.

We really enjoyed our time here. First off, the location is superb -- within a two min. walk are the beach, many restaurants, shops, pharmacies, bars, etc. Yet the hotel itself always felt miles away: very chill, relaxed atmosphere. Mostly older people or families, so not lots of crazy partying, no noise problems. The room was spacious and comfy and the cleaners did a great job. We had a king, but it felt like a California king, since it was huge. We didn't use the sofa bed, but it looked full or queen sized if anyone is considering it. The balcony was great. Having a little fridge was good. All hotel staff were nice and helpful. The pool was warm to a great level, and relaxing. Access to the neighboring hotel for beach and breakfast was appreciated. Breakfast was expansive and impressive. All in all, we loved this place and would come back in a heartbeat. My daughter made me promise we would, in fact. And the price was excellent. No complaints, only praise.

Small hotel but clean. The location is perfect to get around to the male on and pier. The staff vey helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was decent you get a complete breakfast. I will definitely be staying here again in the future.

The building it self was older, and could use a little TLC. Our room was clean, the pool was OK, and the staff were great. The location is perfect in Zona Romantica. Close to the action but just far enough away from the nearest bars to get some sleep. Staying at the Los Arcos suites gives you beach access at their resort about 100meters away on the beach, and the adult pool across the street. They all have the same owners. In our package we had breakfast each day at the resort buffet. The food and staff there were good as well. I would stay there again.

We enjoyed the suite, however the overall Los arcos experience was middle grade. The food was not that great. The “free” massage was 15 minutes lol The upgrade room was the same room as the others. The alley below was always filled with Trucks and noise. They were working on the hotel and we had strong paint fumes coming out of our ac unit for 2 days. The water pressure was terrible. Overall the area is decent if you like gay dude filled sidewalks and vendors always pushing the garbage to sell. Things have gotten more expensive as well due to greed.

Pro's: Great location! 2 minute walk to main hotel and beach, used their pools and beach club (loungers and umbrella) Large room with sperate living and kitchen area. Pool was a good size and almost always empty. Aircon was fabulous. Service was magnificent. Staff were above and beyond friendly. Gold status got us free breakfast daily and 1 15 minute massage. Cons: Outside light usually on, room was pretty lit up even with curtain. Hotel is a bit dated but clean, bed was so-so comfy, manageable. Bugs in pool because of beautiful vine wall.. but would benefit from additional daily skimming throughout the day. No privacy doorhanger, and we gave the cleaning ladies a show ;)
