"The resort was great, especially if traveling with kids. The food was okay and the beach was small. However, the beach wasn’t packed with people and the waves were good to ride. My son loves to ride waves. The rooms were okay, not top notch, but I got a family room which had lots of beds. There were a couple of cons- on our 2nd night, the power in our room went out at 4:30am. It woke our baby up and he was up for an hour, since he uses the sound machine. I had to go to the lobby and tell them, which they were able to fix in about 15 min. However, the damage was already done with the baby waking up. My daughter got bit by a mosquito in the room and so did my baby. He had lots of bites. However, this you will find everything in Mexico during the summer. My daughter had an allergic reaction to a mosquito bite on her forehead and half of her face got swollen. Thank god the on-site doctor saw her at no cost. The restaurant food was awesome, especially at the mole & tacos restaurant. Overall, as a mom, I enjoyed not having to cook and my kids were entertained the whole time."
