AC did not work but the fan worked. Some of the furniture was worn or broken. But overall, for Mexico, and especially Yelapa where there are limited amenities, it was fairly good. The staff were helpful, especially Ismar, who spoke some English. As my Spanish is poor I was grateful for that!

We went in the summer, super quiet and peaceful and safe. If you like something non commercial this is the place to go. Better if you like animals and speak a little Spanish. And most important bring cash money there are no ATM machines, Lagunita restaurant take credit cards. Very nice place😊

"Beautiful property- very well maintained and aesthetically appealing. Lovely marble floors in lobby. Stunning! Staff was extremely skilled at their jobs and were friendly. They paid attention to our needs, often without even asking. Rooms are spic and span clean, as well as all common areas. Wonderful fauna throughout the resort. Pool area was clean and a very large pool accommodated everyone spaciously. Reserving pool chairs is not allowed- which is appreciated- which means you could go to the pool any time of day and be sure to find a spot. There are olenty of chairs for everyone. The food choice was amazing, different menu on the buffet daily (breakfast, lunch, and supper). Food quality was very good, and delicious. We tried both the Fish House and Mole for supper, both were excellent, and staff were exceptional. We were staying as ‘premium’ booking, so we had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast daily in the Mole restaurant- wow! Top notch breakfasts and service. Overall, the hotel management is to be commended on running a beautiful resort, the staff were very, very professional and friendly."
