Definitely a sub-par experience. The lobby was under construction, the amenities were bare bones, the shower was terrible, the sink water didn't get hot, and the wifi wouldn't work. Staff was friendly but limited.

The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The hotel was clean. The room was basic. It had a fridge but no microwave. It's walking distance many restaurants and the piers. It's also convenient to get th Balboa Park and the airport.
