Clean room and easy check-in. Swimming pool was being re-tiled so unavailable during our stay by front desk waived the resort fee to compensate. Very close to the beach. Not noisy. Friendly staff. Couple restaurants available downstairs but walkable to nearby restaurants on the beach front. Didn't get a chance to use the spa facilities.

Loved the big bathroom with 2 sinks and lots of counter and shelf space for all the toiletries that comes with a family of 5. Staff quickly replenished towels and toilet paper when needed. Loved the easy beach access and the free arcade!

Room 117 next to pool and hot tub, very noisy, music playing right outsid the room. Door to room does not close properly, no weather seal, light coming in all around perimeter. Expensive paid parking spaces were too small for most vehicles. After three nights, my car doors were damaged from other vehicles with same issues. Will not return.

We had a very nice stay. The koi ponds were so neat around the resort. It is not the absolute newest, but it is clean. If we stay in San Diego again we would definitely return. It is walking distance to shopping, food, drinks and most importantly the beach.

The room was clean and staff was friendly. But like a lot have commented, it needs an update. Everything seems very tired and worn out. Also, the ‘two’ restaurants and pretty much the same thing that doesn’t seem to know what it wants to be. Would be wise to have one more ‘upscale’ dining with nice meal options and another more ‘pub’ or cafe style dining.
