Everyone was most friendly, polite and efficient. The heating unit in my room was not functioning, after notifying the front desk, a technician fixed it in a matter of minutes. We went as a family of 4. Stayed 3 nights to check out the zoo and USS Midway. The elevator with the glass dome was a huge hit for the kids. We hit the pool every day. The onsite restaurants and gift shop had all the important things! Perfect for a home away from home for a few days.

The checkin was abysmally slow. Only one person at the desk. First I stood in line for a half hour and arrived at checkin time. My room was not ready. I was told they’d text when ready. Nothing for 1 1/2 hours. I texted for an update as the checkin line was extremely long. A half hour later I was texted my room was ready. The line was even longer for people checking in. I was finally in my room 2 hours after checkin. Other than that a pretty good stay but the checkin still lingers as a horrible experience.

I was early for check in and my room wasn’t quite ready. We completed the check in process and I went off to lunch expecting the room to be ready in half an hour. It was ready when I went to the room. The counter person saved me from a later check in when the desk was busy! Thanks for making it work! Room was great!!

The hotel staff was very friendly. However, the quality of the hotel was very poor and neglected. The carpet in the hallways was wavey and dirty, the elevators were sketchy, and the rooms (although seemed cleaned) were very dated and worn out. The staff at the hotel restaurant Claim Jumper was far from nice. We sat ourselves and after 15 mins of waiting had to get a server to take our order. Once we placed our drink and food order we did not see the server to our food and drinks for another 40 mins. At which we point we notified them to cancel the order and we left the establishment. I am sure they can charge what they charge for the hotel rate based on their location, but they should seriously consider putting some capital into the facility OR at the very least updating their website pictures to reflect modern day reality of the conditions. We will NOT being staying at a Wyndham property in the future.
