We are certainly disheartened to hear of the experience you had at our hotel. Our rooms have been recently renovated with a nautical decor. While we do charge for parking -- as many hotels in San Diego do -- ours is the least expensive on Shelter Island. We hope that you brought the noises and challenges with your sliding door to the attention of the Front Desk as we always want a peaceful and stress-free stay for our guests and would absolutely have taken steps to take care of these. Please consider giving us another try on your next visit so that we can show you the kind of experience our guests have come to expect from the Bay Club.

We do not accept any pets; however, service animals trained to perform a specific task for a guest are allowed by law. Additionally, some of our marina tenants do have dogs. Perhaps you saw one of these animals. Unfortunately, due to very low occupancy in the hotel and restrictions on available dining due to COVID, our restaurant is closed but we will be reopening Friday, March 5. We do hope to have the chance to welcome you back for a better experience.
