There was some mess on the coffee table, but we didn’t use that room. The restaurant was far better than we expected and enjoyed it. We were there just overnight and arrived exhausted. We just needed to eat, shower and sleep. Very satisfied with all three.

This was our first time staying at Humphreys Half Moon Inn. We booked a standard king room, and check-in was great, our room was even ready early. When we first arrived, there was a slight musty odor. We were told this can happen due to rain, so we turned on the A/C and went to dinner. Unfortunately, when we returned, the room still smelled quite musty. I called the front desk, and they were amazing about moving us to another room on the second floor. What a difference it made! We really appreciated how promptly the situation was handled. Having a mini fridge and microwave in the room was a great bonus. The location is good, though you definitely need a vehicle if you plan on leaving the area. Parking is $25 per day, and it would be nice if some parking were included for longer stays. The heated outdoor pool was great, nice size for both kids and adults, with a depth up to 9 feet. The hot tub was good too. I do wish I had looked at the map more closely, as the fire pit area was farther away than I realized and we would have used it more. Overall, we would stay again!

Location is perfect, peaceful and beautiful. The pool and hot tub were magical at night. Staff was very attentive. Hotel rooms are looking a little worn, but mostly clean. Will definitely stay again!

We stayed 4 nights and absolutely loved it! Pool and spa were incredible and every meal at the restaurant (we had 6) was delicious. Beautiful views in every direction and a great location, easy to navigate and lots of shopping and stores nearby if you need something or want to eat out. The grounds felt like a tropical resort with beautiful shaded paths and so peaceful. Also loved the koi poind and resident macaws! 10/10 would recommend and would love to come back!

BED BUGS!!!!! We found a bed bug in our room after the first night during a trip with our toddler. (We took pics). Biggest bed bug ever. So disgusting. Reported to staff immediately. Switched rooms. But no one checked in with us or followed up. When we checked out they were super rude. No one checked with us Manager said maintenance came in and couldn’t confirm it. I have photos! Only offered us $40 off and that’s all. Eventually my husband came and he got our first night taken off the bill. Such a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, especially with a toddler. We had to keep our stuff in plastic bags the whole time and now lots of stress about bringing home bed bugs because they often lay eggs in clothes. Ruined our whole trip. Going home now and dry cleaning everything.
