Do not stay in the north building unless you want to be woken up by drunk college kids brawling in the alley. The main building seemed much nicer and safer. Room was spacious and had a little kitchen which was nice but very very dated. Super loud at night and didn't feel really safe with so many people spilling into the alley. Nice and close to all the beach life which was great but I wouldn't stay here again, way overpriced for what you get.

This was the right price for our fall trip. The room was dated, but clean and in good repair. No ac was a bit rough but the two provided fans were helpful. Having the windows open at night let in a ton of noise late at night and early in the morning. For what this is, it was a good value and fit what we needed.

Great beach access

Acess to the beach was amazing although the view from 2nd floor balconies are blocked by the roof tops of cottages. This was my 4th time here and will certainly be back.

Perfect Beach Location

This place was perfect for our family trip. We loved that it had a small kitchen with all the essentials so we can stay in and cook as well. I felt like everything we can need or want was within walking distance. I definitely would stay here again the next time we visit San Diego.

Perfect no frills motel right in the middle of Pacific Beach! Free parking a huge plus - I would 1000% recommend the Cottages and have been coming to PB for years - this is the best bang for your buck amd again the location outweighs any “swankyness” it lacks - you will not be disappointed
